Halima Eid
Overview
Halima Eid [Halima Saeed] has expressed a desire to murder Zionists, advocated violence,glorified the terror group Hamas, proposed putting Zionists in concentration camps and applauded Hitler.She has also spread hatred of Jews, Zionists and Israel. Eid has also compared Israel to Nazis and ISIS, spread anti-Israel conspiracies and made homophobic comments.
Eid was reported to be the Events Coordinator for Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at San Diego State University (SDSU) for 2016-2017 and attended the 2016 National SJP conference (NSJP).
Eid is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
In 2017, Eid was a representative of the Associated Students of SDSU. However, she reportedly stepped down from student government shortly thereafter.
As of February 2022, Eid posted to her Facebook page that she was a “Mental Health Clinician” at Heartland Wellness and Recovery Center since 2020 and a “Counselor” at Cuyamaca College since 2019, and that she was located in San Diego, California.
As of February 2022, Eid was also the “Co-Founder and Clinician” of the mental health organization AMALYsince March 2020.
Amaly was granted federal non-profit status in July 2020. As of February 2022, AMALY’s LinkedIn Page said: “Our mission is to bridge the gap between mental health and the Muslim Community and educate local leaders, and institutions in meeting the needs of Muslims of all ages and backgrounds.”
As of February 2022, Eid was licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciencesas an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (license number 8406 issued on August 28, 2020, and due to expire on August 31, 2022).
Eid indicated on Amaly’s website that she received a master’s degree in “Multicultural Community Counseling and Social Justice Education” from SDSU in 2020 and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SDSU. She also indicated on LinkedIn that she received a bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies and Theology in 2020 from the California Islamic Institute.
Eid also spread anti-Semitism while she was in high-school.
As of February 2022, Eid went by the name “Halima Saeed” on Facebook.

Hamas was responsible for the kidnapping of three Israeli teenagers. The abducted boys were murdered and their bodies were found buried in Palestinian-controlled territory on June 30, 2014.

Spreading Anti-Israel Conspiracies
On July 23, 2020, Eid shared to Facebook an article titled “US Police Should Reject Israeli Training Programs,” that blamed Israel for the death of George Floyd, a black man who was arrested and killed by a white police officer in May 2020.
The article Eid shared referenced Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP)’s “Deadly Exchange” campaign.
In 2017, JVP launched the “Deadly Exchange” campaign that accused American Jewish organizations of promoting human rights abuses. JVP also released a video that blamed [00:04:04] Jewish organizations for violence that occurs against Black and Brown communities, immigrants and activists in the U.S.
On April 7, 2020, Eid shared an article by the Middle East Monitor to Facebook, titled: “Israel pharmaceutical firms test medicines on Palestinian prisoners.”
The Middle East Monitor is a news outlet directed by Daud Abdullah, who regularly writes and publishes articles inciting hatred against Israel.
The article Eid shared referenced a talk by a Hebrew University professor Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian at Columbia University, who alleged that Israel was experimenting on Palestinian children with new weapons.
Hebrew University responded in a statement: “The views expressed by Prof. Nadera Shalhoub-Kevorkian don’t represent or express in any way the views of the Hebrew University or the university administration, but are her personal opinion that reflect only her views.”

On July 5, 2018, Eid shared a video to Facebook titled: “Irish shoppers remove all Israeli products to show their support with Palestine.”
On May 29, 2018, Eid shared a post by JVP to Facebook, reporting that Columbian singer Shakira cancelled her show in Tel Aviv.
The post’s caption read: “Shakira will not be performing in Tel Aviv any time soon! Palestinian cultural organizations, artists and thousands of activists, including the 16,000 who signed a petition JVP launched last week, helped force an announcement yesterday by her media group! BDS. YES!
On May 25, 2018, Eid shared to Facebook a JVP video that featured Columbian music artist Shakira, speaking on behalf of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The video caption targeted Shakira, - claiming that if she performed in in Tel Aviv, she would be endorsing “... .a brutal military occupation that imprisons children, and an apartheid state.”
High-School Anti-Semitism

SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
MSA
The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."
The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.
The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
