On July 14, 2016, Mahmoud tweeted: “Some nights I have dreams that I'm on the beach, other nights I'm holding a glock.”

Support for Hamas

On November 12, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Glory and honor to our freedom fighters. Praying for their safety and success.” That day, Hamas fired “over 400 rockets from the Gaza strip into Israeli towns and communities.”

The tweet was in response to a tweet by anti-Israel activist Ali Abunimah, the co-founder of Electronic Intifada (EI), that read: “Al-Qassam Brigades tweets in in Hebrew: ‘In joint resistance operations room serious discussions about expanding arena of fire if the enemy decides to continue its aggression. Ashkelon was only the beginning. About a million Israelis will be in shelters.’”

The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades is the military wing of Hamas.

On May 15, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted:  “It wasn’t spurred by Hamas but Hamas was one of the factions calling for the GRM [Great Return March]. If you’re trying to respond to propaganda by distancing from Hamas, it only harms us [Palestinians] more, that’s all.”

Media reports confirmed [00:00:20] the March of Return protesters’ breaches and attempted breaches of Israel’s border fence, some by armed Palestinians. One Hamas leader declared [00:00:30]: “We will take down the border [with Israel] and we will tear out their hearts from their bodies.”

Mahmoud retweeted a tweet from December 15, 2018 that read: “Palestine is the land of the Arab Palestinian people, from it they originate, to it they adhere and belong, and about it they reach out and communicate.
#Hamas31 #WhatsHamas.”

Condoning Violence

On December 9, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “A collaborator with the settler-colonial project was found dead shortly after a video where he remarked ‘Residents of the West Bank, I swear to God that the Jews are better.. to those who stick to nationalism listen carefully- the State of Israel exists..’”

The tweet linked to an article about Ahmed Salame, a Palestinian who had reportedly became an Israeli resident by marrying an Arab-Israeli woman and was murdered in a shooting after selling land to Jews.

Mahmoud added: “May there be not a second of rest for the compradors willing to sell our land and our people out to colonizers.”

On July 20, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Palestinians have a right to resist the colonial zionist entity by any means necessary. Remember the countless Palestinians martyred in our liberation struggle when you begin to see zionists’ crocodile tears. Glory to our freedom fighters.”

Mahmoud’s tweet was in response to an Israeli soldier who was shot and killed by a Hamas sniper.

On March 21, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Like you pieces of s**t love talking about ‘violence’ When are you gonna talk about the f**king genocide Israel was founded on top of? Any means used by Palestinians to liberate ourselves from white supremacist Israeli colonizers is just. We will return. Wait on it.”

On January 18, 2016, Mahmoud posted a photo on Instagram of a banner that said: “VICTORY TO THE INTIFADA DOWN WITH IMPERIALISM & ZIONISM!”

Mahmoud commented: “#FreePalestine I Love my country and our resistance.”

Endorsing Violent Protesters

On December 12, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Glorious salute to our people in Gaza & their steadfast resistance, almost 9 months after the beginning of the #GreatReturnMarch on Land Day March 30th. 240 have been martyred by zionist snipers since the start & over 25k injured.”

On August 13, 2018, Mahmoud shared a photo on Facebook of a masked Palestinian and wrote: “From June mobilizations for the Great Return March. #WeWillReturn #OnePeopleOneStruggle #OneEnemyOneDestiny.”

On March 30, 2018, some 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza approached Israel’s border to take part in “Land Day Protests,” or the “March of Return.” The march was organized and funded by Hamas as a campaign of violent protests to spotlight the Palestinian demand to “return” to Israel. The “right of return” has since been discredited as a means to eliminate Israel.

On May 14, 2018, in response to a tweet that read: “Violent protests erupt in Israel ahead of US embassy opening http://hill.cm/P0aN0sM” Mahmoud tweeted: “1.  The only one being violent, the only aggressor here, is the Zionist colonial government and settler society. 2. Any embassy to Israel on PALESTINIAN land, is illegitimate. [Read: they all are] 3. Palestinians have a right to resist by any means necessary to free our land.”

Glorifying Terrorists

On December 12, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Every time I study Palestinian history my love for our people is expanded. Always reminds me of this quote by Ghassan: ‘we are a small brave nation who are going to fight until the last drop of blood to put justice for ourselves, after the world failed in giving it to us.’”

Kanafani was a leading member and spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) during the terrorist organization’s early years. Kanafani announced the PFLP’s responsibility for the Lod Airport Massacre of May 1972 and was linked to the airport attackers. The attack killed 26 people and wounded 80 others.

On December 3, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted:“‘The Martyr Dallal Al Mughraby’ by Abdal Rahman Al Mozayen” and shared a painting of terrorist Dallal Al Mughraby with armed Palestinian militants above her head.

Dalal Mughrabi, a member of the Fatah faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), participated in the 1978 Coastal Road massacre in Israel. She and other terrorists hijacked a bus in an attack that left 38 Israeli civilians dead, including 13 children.

On November 30, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Nasheed [vocal music] for the martyr Dalal Moghrabi, love this video.” The tweet linked to a video celebrating Dalal Moghrabi.

On November 12, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Urgent Call from PFLP: Gaza under attack! Stand with Palestine, Stand with the Resistance | Fight Back!” The tweet linked to an article written by the PFLP in Fight Back News.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has been designated a terrorist organization by the U.S., the EU, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Israel and several other countries. The PFLP pioneered aircraft hijackings, most notably the 1976 capture of an Air France plane they rerouted to Entebbe, Uganda. The PFLP also claimed “credit” for the November 2014 Har Nof Synagogue massacre, in which PFLP operatives murdered six people with a gun, axes and a butcher knife during morning prayers.

On July 8, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “‘We are a small, brave nation who are going to fight until the last drop of blood’ Rest in eternal glory to our Freedom Fighter Comrade Ghassan Kanafani. They will try to martyr our leaders, though we know “you can kill a revolutionary, but you can’t kill the revolution”. 🇵🇸

On June 28, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Free Khalida Jarrar! Free all Palestinian prisoners!”

Khalida Jarrar is a senior member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror organization. She has reportedly been the head of the PFLP in the West Bank since 2016. In 2015, an Israeli military court sentenced Jarrar to 15 months in prison for calling to kidnap Israeli soldiers. Israel arrested Jarrar again in 2017 “on suspicion of involvement with terrorist activities and violent public disturbances.” In 2019, she was arrested by Israel with 50 other PFLP operatives following a deadly 2018 bombing attack.

On March 9, 2018, Mahmoud was featured in a video shared on Facebook by JPSN on International Women’s Day, leading JPSN activists in chants of “From Assata to Ramsea [Odeh], we fight for Hurriyah [Freedom]!”

Odeh was a key military operative with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terrorist organization. In 1969, she masterminded a PFLP supermarket bombing that killed two college students. She also attempted to bomb the British consulate in Jerusalem. Odeh later moved to the United States but was deported to Jordan in 2017 for immigration fraud.

On August 25, 2017, Mahmoud posted a picture of Odeh on Instagram and wrote: “Freedom Fighter Rasmea Odeh with the Fight Back! News publication #FRSO ✊🏽🇵🇸”

On March 8, 2016, Mahmoud posted to Instagram a photo of Leila Khaled cradling an AK-47, with the comment: “Happy #InternationalWomensDay One of my idols Leila Khaled, a badass Palestinian Marxist, freedom fighter & revolutionary. As you can see it just runs in our blood.”

Admiring Anti-Israel Agitators

On December 22, 2017, Mahmoud wrote on Instagram: “Palestinian women are f**king amazing. I love my sisters. Make sure you’re flooding social media to call for the apartheid colonial state of Israel to release freedom fighters Nour, Ahed, and Nariman Tamimi.”

Nariman Tamimi, Ahed Tamimi’s mother, is a prolific promoter of terror. In 2015, she shared a Facebook post providing graphic instructions on where to aim a knife to kill an Israeli. In 2016, Nariman shared her approval of a teenage Palestinian terrorist who killed a 13-year-old Israeli girl sleeping in her bed.

Mahmoud continued: “The Tamimi family regularly leads protests in Nabi Saleh against the colonial occupation. Ahed, who is 16, previously said if she weren’t forced by the colonization of Palestine into resistance, she’d be a soccer player. Our children are robbed of their right to childhood at such young ages. Mashallah, our resilience. #FreeAhed #FreeNour #FreeNariman#FreePalestine.”

Ahlam Tamimi is reportedly a Hamas terrorist who masterminded the 2001 suicide bombing at Jerusalem’s Sbarro cafe, which murdered 15 people, including eight children, and wounded 130. Tamimi later boasted of her role in committing the bombing.

On December 19, 2017, Mahmoud shared a photo on Instagram that wrote: “Free Ahed Tamimi” and wrote: “Ahed has been monumental in resistance efforts at only 16, and was abducted...both of Ahed’s parents, Nariman and Bassem Tamimi have also been arrested by Israeli forces. Follow the call to action here to demand for their release.”

Ahed Tamimi has a long history of physically attacking Israeli soldiers. Tamimi is the daughter of Bassem Tamimi, who is known for exploiting young children as political props in staged confrontations with Israeli soldiers.

Expressing Support for Terror Financiers

On December 1, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “WATCH: The Holy Land Five - Al Jazeera World #FreeTheHLF5 #10YearsTooLong #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners.” The tweet linked to an Al Jazeera-produced documentary about the Holy Land Five.

The Holy Land Five (HL5) were five individuals associated with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) indicted for funneling funds to Hamas in the guise of humanitarian aid. The men were all convicted and sentenced in 2009 to federal prison terms ranging from 15 to 65 years.

Spreading Anti-Semitism

On October 15, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “Lmaoo zionists are campus are so ugly. Phone cases being passed out at UNF by Jewish Ospreys club.”

On July 15, 2017, Mahmoud tweeted: “Twitter banned me for saying zios should cho*ke but here’s my cute a** nails.”

The term "Zio" is a common derogatory reference to Zionists, as well as an often-used anti-Semitic slur among white supremacists.

On July 12, 2017, Mahmoud tweeted: “Due to Judaism being indigenous to the region and most Jewish people the ride off it like they aren't WHITE A** SETTLERS.”

Mahmoud said [00:00:25]: “to give you guys a little context on what the state of Israel is…Israel is a white supremacist ethno state, that was built on top of an already existing nation.”

The event focused on Militarism: The War Economy and the Proliferation of Gun Violence.

Mahmoud continued [00:00:46]: “to establish an ethno-state means that anybody that doesn’t fit in that ethnicity cannot reside in that state, so what does that mean when the majority of indigenous Palestinian population wasn’t Jewish… That means that they have to remove us from our lands by any means necessary, including ethnic cleansing and genocide. U.S. tax payers dollars fuels this genocide and fuels this ethnic cleansing project.”

On November 10, 2017, Mahmoud was featured in a video posted on Facebook by JPSN leading protesters outside of a synagogue in chanting [00:01:44]: “FIGHT THE POWER, TURN THE TIDE, END ISRAELI APARTHEID.”

Mahmoud then addressed the crowd where she spoke [00:02:43] about accounts from the 1948 Arab Israeli war. Mahmoud accused [00:02:27] Israel’s first Prime Minister, Ben Gurion of advocating the murder of Arabs in order to expel them.

Mahmoud also claimed [00:02:30] that “400 Palestinian villages were massacred” and alleged [00:02:37] there was “mass rape of women, genocide of children” and that [00:02:45]: “women were lined up, feeding their newborn children and shot in the head by Zionist militias.”

On October 9, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted a photo of herself wearing a T-Shirt with text on the front that read: “ISRAEL IS A GARBAGE COUNTRY THAT’S ONLY LOVED BY GARBAGE PEOPLE. IT WAS FOUNDED ON ETHNIC CLEANSING, APARTHEID, AND SETTLER COLONIALISM. ITS FLAG IS A SYMBOL OF WHITE SUPREMACY.”

Mahmoud added: “& the back” and shared a photo of text written on the back of the T-Shirt: “All Zionists are Racists Every Single One.”

On June 13, 2018, Mahmoud tweeted: “I guess the fact that Ethiopian Jewish women were being forcibly sterilized by Israel for decades wasn’t enough (this is ignoring the fact that Israel was built on extreme colonial violence which should be enough to oppose its existence)”

On May 16, 2018, Mahmoud shared a photo on Instagram of herself holding a megaphone next to some other activists and wrote: “Me: smiling thinking about the dismantlement of the Zionist settler State. Josh: ready to bust zionists. Sharif: laughing at liberal zionists and their ‘two state solution’”

On August 23, 2017, Mahmoud wrote on Facebook: “Zionism is a form of white nationalism, period...it advocates genocide, displacement and dehumanizes Palestinians” and what “zionists believed…..is antisemitic in and of itself.”

On December 30, 2017, Mahmoud was asked on Curiouscat: “what are ur thoughts on obama not doing a veto at the un security council meeting the other day? and also john kerry's speech today?...”

Mahmoud replied: “obama is a b**ch lmao and so is kerry, they act like these minor acts are doing anything for palestine when they remain to tiptoe around the fact that israel is conducting genocide and massive human rights abuses to nonwhite jewish people and nonjewish israelis as well”

On May 15, 2016, Mahmoud tweeted a comment directed at Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “The irony in you claiming Iran is preparing another Holocaust while Israel has and is conducting genocide.”

On March 1, 2016, Mahmoud tweeted: “40% of Palestinian children are sexually assaulted by Israeli soldiers. But that doesn't matter to you-.”

Mahmoud’s post also claimed:  “In 1948, the zionist settler colonial state of Israel was established in a very similar way to the US. Unlike other colonial occupations, the creation of both the US and Israel required the systematic ethnic cleansing of indigenous peoples in order to settle a new, foreign population. 70 years later, and Palestinians are still resisting the occupying settler state.”

On April 3. 2018, Mahmoud shared a graphic on Instagram promoting SJPUNF’s Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) at UNF, writing: “See y’all next week for IAW at UNF! Feel free to message me any questions, will post more info soon ❤️”

Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) is presented internationally as a “series of events that seeks to raise awareness of…Israel’s settler-colonial project and apartheid system over the Palestinian people.” One of its goals is to build support for the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. IAW has been renamed Palestine Awareness Week.

The activists were speaking out against the bill. Florida SB 780 (2018) was a proposed bill prohibiting government contracts with a company “that is engaged in a boycott of Israel.”

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
