Maddie Fenn

Overview

Maddie Fenn [Madeleine Fenn] has organized multiple anti-Israel rallies and is an affiliate of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP)

Fenn attended the 2017 National SJP Conference (NSJP 2017), where she represented the International Socialist Organization (ISO).

NSJP 2017 was held October 27-29, 2017 at the University of Houston (UH). The conference was themed “A Reimagined World: Dismantling Walls from Palestine to the Rio Grande.” Per the 2017 National SJP Conference website, the conference aimed to strengthen “collaborative efforts within all regions to pass BDS” and envision “pathways to achieving sanctions in the future.”

Fenn is an activist and organizer with the Dallas Palestine Coalition (DPC), a coalition of groups and organizations in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex “that stand with the human and national rights of the Palestinian people.”

As of November 2017, she was a student at Texas Woman’s University (TWU).

Anti-Israel Rallies

On December 9, 2017, Fenn called [0:02:35] for the dissolution of Israel at a DPC rally in downtown Dallas, Texas. She also referred to Israel [0:02:35]as “the oppressive, apartheid state that fuels injustice.”

On December 16, 2017, Fenn organized and spoke at an anti-Israel rally hosted by DPC. The rally was held to protest President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and relocate the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

A sign at the protest read: “End Israeli Apartheid,” while another read “No Embassy on Stolen Land.”

On December 10, 2017, Fenn posted a picture of DPC’s rally on DPC’s Facebook event page.

On December 9, 2017, Fenn was the opening speaker [0:02:05] at another DPC rally titled “Rally for Jerusalem, the capital of Palestine.”

Promoting Anti-Israel Agitator

On December 19, 2017, Fenn updated her cover photo on Facebook to a picture of Ahed Tamimi. Tamimi was detained after she was filmed punching and kicking Israeli soldiers. She has a long history of physically attacking Israeli soldiers.

Tamimi is the daughter of Bassem Tamimi.

Bassem Tamimi is notorious for exploiting young children as political props in staged confrontations with Israeli soldiers. In 2011, he was jailed for organizing violent rallies and inciting minors to commit violent crimes such as rock-throwing.

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
