Unmasking Terror Support: When 'Social Justice' Veils Hamas Sympathies
Anti-Israel activists across North America are ripping down posters of kidnapped Israeli civilians – ironically in the name of fighting for human rights.
Learn who these "Kidnapped Poster" rippers are.
On October 7, 2023, Jews worldwide awakened to a nightmare. Hamas terrorists breached Israel's borders in a terror attack that is now being called the most deadly attack on Jewish people since the Holocaust.
Over 240 innocent civilians, spanning from age three months to 85 years, were forcibly taken from Israel into the Gaza Strip by Hamas. This wasn't an isolated act but a part of a heinous onslaught against Israel, where countless children, elderly, women, and men faced horrific fates—slaughter, assault, rape and other acts of unspeakable brutality. Hamas militants, in an act of unprecedented cruelty, shared videos of many of these horrendous acts, using the captured civilians as tools for psychological warfare against the Israeli populace.
In the wake of this tragedy, a global movement emerged in which thousands across the world displayed photos of the hostages on city walls and streets, hoping to raise awareness about their plight and expedite their safe return.

Amid the undeniable humanitarian crisis of civilians taken hostage by a terror organization, a truly disturbing pattern began to emerge. Anti-Israel activists, under their banner of "social justice," started tearing down these symbols of hope and solidarity, actively working against a campaign meant to shed light on this dire situation.
Liz Klehr, in New York City, proudly tore down posters depicting the kidnapped Israelis. She responded with an unabashed "Yes!" when questioned about her pride in the act.
Joseph Friedman ripped down posters on the Virginia Commonwealth University campus. When confronted, Friedman responded: “What about the Palestinian children?”.
Anna Epstein justified ripping down these posters by labeling them "[Israeli] propaganda" and accused others of "supporting the occupation."
Sarah Daoud's ripping down posters was especially heinous considering she chose a predominantly Orthodox Jewish neighborhood in NYC. When confronted, she cursed the person filming her with a variety of derogatory terms.
Aleela Taylor removed posters in Miami just days after the harrowing events transpired, callous to the trauma of the Jewish people.
Laurel Squadron's rationale? Accusations of "supporting genocide" against those raising awareness of the kidnapped hostages.
This unsettling trend of tearing down posters isn't merely an act of vandalism; it's a deliberate attempt to silence Jewish suffering, erase their plea for help and, most disturbingly, it's done with a sense of righteousness and moral superiority.
