Zoey Hornbeck

Overview

Zoey Hornbeck ripped down a poster meant to raise awareness of Israeli civilians kidnapped by Hamas terrorists in late 2023.

Hamas kidnapped the civilians, including women, children and the elderly, during a series of terror atrocities and war crimes that left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Hamas executed the terror attacks on October 7, 2023. Other Hamas war crimes included mass murder, torture, rape and beheadings. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
 
As of November 2023, Hornbeck was listed as a student at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Social Work. VCU is located in Richmond, Virginia.

As of the same date, Hornbeck’s LinkedIn profile said Hornbeck had been working as a sushi chef at Sticky Rice in Richmond, Virginia, and as a hibachi chef at Hana Sushi in Hayes, Virginia. Hornbeck’s LinkedIn also said that Hornbeck was a student at VCU from “2019 - 2023.” 

Also as of the same date, Hornbeck went by the username “Luci Hornbeck” on Facebook. 

As of November 2023, Hornbeck’s Facebook said Hornbeck lived in Richmond, Virginia.

Ripping Down Posters Raising Awareness of Israeli Hostages

In November 2023, a few weeks after Hamas terror attacks against Israel, Hornbeck ripped down [00:03:56] posters raising awareness of Israeli civilians kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and taken forcibly to Gaza as hostages. 

The incident reportedly [00:00:14] took place in Montclair, New Jersey. 

When confronted by the individual filming the incident, who later said he had put up the flyers, Hornbeck repeatedly said [00:00:09]: “F**k off!”

Hornbeck later shouted [00:03:49]: “Look, buddy! I’m Jewish too! And there ain’t nothing more anti-Semitic than Zionism! F**k off!” 

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.
