Harvard Students Support Terror
In the wake of a Hamas-led massacre in Israel, Harvard University is under scrutiny for its response to a statement by the Palestine Solidarity Committee, which implicated Israel for the violence, igniting public uproar. Harvard’s decision to form a task force to support the signatories rather than address the content of the statement has raised serious questions on the priorities of the administration. The situation further escalated with an assault on an Israeli student during an on-campus protest.
President Claudine Gay's recent denouncement of antisemitism and the establishment of an advisory board to combat antisemitism on campus are overdue measures, coming into play only after significant damage to the Jewish community and the university's reputation, highlighting a need for proactive rather than reactive leadership in protecting Jewish students.

Harvard Student Orgs' Backing of Hamas Atrocities
On October 8, 2023, just one day after the brutal massacre of Israeli civilians by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, the Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee (PSC) chapter released a 'Joint Statement by Harvard Palestine Solidarity Groups on the Situation in Palestine' on Instagram.
The statement read: “We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime responsible for all unfolding violence.” The statement also claimed the atrocities “did not occur in a vacuum” and that “The coming days will require a firm stand against colonial retaliation.” The list of student groups that signed on to the statement was later removed following public outrage.
More than 30 Harvard University student organizations signed this statement justifying the murder of 1300+ civilians.
Harvard Law Review Editor Assaults Jewish Student
Ibrahim Bharmal participated in physically and verbally assaulting an Israeli student during an anti-Israel “die-in” protest at Harvard University (Harvard) in October 2023.
The incident occurred in the wake of a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes that left over 1,400 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped, as well as thousands wounded. The war crimes include mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, and were carried out on October 7, 2023. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
On October 18, 2023, Bharmal reportedly participated in an anti-Israel “die-in” protest on the Harvard campus. Protesters carried Palestinian flags and held up signs that read: “STOP THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA.”
Bharmil and Tettey-Tamaklo were reported to the Harvard University Police Department (HUPD) and the FBI’s Boston office.
As of November 2023, Bharmal was listed online as an editor for the Harvard Law Review. THE CONTEXT: HAMAS' MASSACRE OF CIVILIANS
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, in excess of 1,500 heavily armed Hamas terrorists breached Israel’s border fence with Gaza and committed numerous war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, beheadings of children, rape, kidnappings and desecration of bodies. Hamas proudly broadcasted videos of the atrocities on social media, often to victims’ social media for their families to see.
As of October 16th, 2023, over 1,300 Israelis had reportedly been killed, along with over 3,000 wounded, many severely, and more than 199 held hostage in Gaza. The incident has since been acknowledged as the worst single-day massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
Hamas began the attack by launching thousands of rockets at Israeli communities and then destroyed parts of the border fence with Gaza. They murdered and kidnapped soldiers, then turned their attention to 22 communities around Gaza, where they went house to house to savagely murder, mutilate and kidnap anyone they found. Children were beheaded and terrorists massacred entire families, including some burned alive while hiding in their homes. Israelis as young as three and as old as 85 were kidnapped.
The mass murder generated an outpouring of outrage internationally. However, among Palestinians, celebrations were widespread, and among anti-Israel organizations that back the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement, many lauded the attack as a triumphant victory for their cause.
The Hamas atrocities against Israeli civilians are crimes against humanity according to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
