Yoana Grigorova ripped down posters meant to raise awareness of Israeli civilians kidnapped by Hamas terrorists, in November 2023.
Hamas kidnapped the civilians, including women and children, during a series of terror attacks and war crimes that left about 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Hamas executed the terror attacks on October 7, 2023. Their other war crimes included mass murder, torture, rape and beheadings.
Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
As of November 2023, Grigorova was listed online as affiliated with the BU Arthritis Center.
As of the same date, Grigorova was listed on the BU directory as having an active university email address.
In September 2023, Grigorova attended an event celebrating the “semester's first week of classes” at BU Graduate Medical Sciences, part of the BU Medical Campus.
As of November 2023, Grigorova’s since-deleted LinkedIn profile said she graduated from BU with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience in 2021.
