Michael Chikindas

Overview

Michael Chikindas posted a slew of anti-Semitic and anti-Israel rants to his Facebook page throughout May of 2017.

After discovering his posts, Rutgers University (Rutgers) placed Chikindas under review pending an investigation. Chikindas then deleted his Facebook account.

Regarding the investigation, Rutgers spokesman Neal Buccino stated that “Professor Michael Chikindas’ comments and posts on social media are antithetical to our university’s principles and values of respect for people of all backgrounds, including our large and vibrant Jewish community, such comments do not represent the position of the University.”

Chikindas was a professor in the Department of Food Science at Rutgers. 

Anti-Semitic and Anti-Israel posts on Facebook

On May 29, 2017, Chikindas shared an article to his Facebook page titled “Israel’s Economy Heading for Disaster, Experts Warn.” In addition to the link, Chikindas added a caption stating “No help from international fat Jewish pockets - I mean unconditional help...”

On May 28, 2017, Chikindas shared a photo to his Facebook page depicting an anti-Semitic caricature of a Jew being held up on a litter that says “Ïsrael” by American soldiers. In the photo, the Jew is quoted saying “I am God’s chosen people you filthy Goyim” while the American soldier states “And we’re supposed to die for this guy?”

On that same day, Chikindas wrote on his Facebook page that “Once again, Facebook made an attempt to force on me an Orthodox Judaism Zionist racist advertisement. Again, as always, this is my response to Facebook:”

Following the caption, Chikindas shared a photo with the text: “Do not force me to love the so-called ‘Chosen’ and I will not tell you where you have to go.”

On May 25, 2017, Chikindas shared a photo from the group “End AIPAC” to his Facebook page. The photo included the caption “Anti-Semitism Card: Get out of Jail Free; When your Zionist agenda gets busted play the anti-Semitism card. Claim Everything. Admit Nothing.”

On May 21, 2017, Chikindas shared an article from the Facebook group “Illuminati Exposed” titled “THE GLOBALISTS: Who Control Us!” Along with the article, Chikindas wrote “These jewish motherf**kers do not control me. The can go and f**k each other in their fat arses - you see, I really do not have anything to lose hence nothing to be controlled.”

On May 14, 2017, Chikindas posted a photo to his Facebook page depicting an anti-Semitic caricature of a Jew disguised in various costumes, suggesting that he is in control of various issues including “Sex Trafficking,” “Pornography,” “Internet Spying” and “Wars for Israel.”

On that same day, Chikindas posted another photo, in which an anti-Semitic caricature of a Jew wearing a Nazi-issued yellow star is holding up money stolen from children who carry a sign that reads “Federal Poverty Programs.” The children in the photo are saying “Mom! He just took our food money,” to which the Jew replies “Be a patriot, Goy! Somebody’s got to pay 10 billion to Israel!”
