Mohammed Abuaun has spread hatred of Jews, mocked the Holocaust, demonized Israel and promoted homophobia.As of February 2020, Abuaun’s LinkedIn page said he was a Junior Business Analyst at Sherwin Williams in Cleveland, Ohio, since August 2018.
Abuaun’s LinkedIn also said he received a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems from Cleveland State University (CSU) in 2017.
Hatred of Jews
On February 28, 2015, Abuaun tweeted about David Blatt, the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2014-2015: “@TheWizHerbawi another reason to hate blatt not even gonna call him a coach lol fkin yahud [Jew] a*[*] nigga”On February 4, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “I hate this weather I hate Ohio I hate math I hate science I hate the yahood [Jews] and bamya. And the steelers Ravens and bengals.”
On January 5, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “I haven't had a day off since hitler was offing Jews and my country was free.”
On November 24, 2014, Abuaun tweeted: “...I would say I’m moving to Palestine but the Jews took everything& the u.s fund them”
Mocking the Holocaust
On February 10, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “When I was like 12 I use to hide in the attic so I didn't have to work on the weekends at the store 😂 #AnneFrank #Holocaust it worked 3x.”On August 28, 2014, Abuaun tweeted: “Never forget the holocaust, slavery, 9/11 Make sure u Teach it every year make movies about it,have holidays 2 gaza what the heck is a gaza?”
Demonizing Israel
On October 12, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “If I went to Palestine TBH I'd get shot no way I'd sit around and watch that stuff go on.”In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.
On June 30, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “imagine isis except Isis that gets money right from the US & uses $ that 2 mass murder well u dont have 2 its Israel.”
On June 9, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “‘David blatt in first name basis with Israel prime minister’ yeah okay so cavs head coach is friends with a mass murder okay.”
On March 26, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “@netanyahu: ‘The days when the Jewish people remain passive in the face of genocidal enemies, those days are over.’ BC U CANT OPPOSE YOURSELF.”
On March 3, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “@cnnbrk: #Netanyahu: ‘I can only urge the leaders of the world not to repeat the mistakes of the past.’ Said by hitlers reincarnation.”
Homophobia
On November 23, 2014, Abuaun tweeted photos of a black man crying at his wedding and commented: “homo ass nigga.”On December 24, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “@PrinceAla10 BRUH there are gay Muslims now smh [shake my head] it's outta hand TBH [to be honest].”
On June 11, 2015, Abuaun tweeted: “Joey Crawford is the biggest homo in all of sports he's a ref& just throws around the little power he has idk how he still has a job tbh”
