Also as of June 2019, Abed’s LinkedIn page said that he graduated from Cleveland State University (CSU) in 2018 with a bachelor of science degree in “Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering.”

Abed attended Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) for the 2013-2014 academic year.

Joking About Violence Against Jews

On March 23, 2013, Abed had a conversation on Twitter in which he discussed a future plan to murder Jews for profit, using the term "lick." Abed tweeted “@BazeAli3 I got a Jew lick coming up.. niggas paying helly.” Responding to a tweet that read: “@Paliboii For real? What he own a jewelry store? I'll put in work. Gimme da .45,” Abed tweeted: @Baze_Ali3 yea but we not allowed to take anything.. go, kill & leave.”

Abed is a friend of Dana Swaies — an organizer for the MSA at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), who also jokes about murdering Jews.

On March 28, 2013, Swaies tweeted — “‘Jews were put in gas chambers... Explains why all Arabs own gas stations ’ HAHA!”

Abed has also corresponded on Twitter with Sinclair Community College (SCC), Dayton Ohio student Nawal Sharab, who’s social media reflects a profound hatred of Jews and Israel.

On March 21, 2014, Sharab tweeted: "Ya3lan aboo yahood ya3lan aboo Israelis ya3lan aboo kool hoom!! [May Allah curse the Jews, may Allah curse the Israelis, may Allah curse all of them!!]."
