Overview

Nawal Sharab has spread hatred of Jews and Israel on social media.

Sharab has implied that her expressions of Jew-hatred are directed only toward "Zionist Jews" or “Israelis.” For instance, on February 4, 2014, Sharab tweeted: “‘@D_Hamed14: Is it just Palestainians or do all Arabs hate Jews’ It's Zionists we hate habibti.”

However, Sharab’s tweets include actual hatred of Jews. For instance, on January 3, 2013, Sharab tweeted: "If I'm following any Jews or if any are following me please let me kno and unfollow me."

Sharab is also connected to other social media users, whose feeds are replete with anti-Jewish posts. These connections are detailed at the bottom of this profile.

Sharab lists herself on Facebook as a student at Sinclair Community College (SCC) in Dayton, Ohio. In May of 2013 Sharab tweeted that she "just finished" her freshman year of college.

Anti-Jewish Social Media Posts

On March 21, 2014, Sharab tweeted: "Ya3lan aboo yahood ya3lan aboo Israelis ya3lan aboo kool hoom!! [May Allah curse the Jews, may Allah curse the Israelis, may Allah curse all of them!!]."

On March 13, 2012, Sharab tweeted: "Worst muslums nightmare..jewish neighbor."

On June 24, 2012, Sharab tweeted: "Worst palestinians parents nightmare, daughter dating a jew."

Urging Violence Towards Israeli Students

On January 13, 2014, Sharab tweeted: "stab him in the eye with an mechanical pencil."

Sharab’s tweet was in response to a tweet by Samiha Allan — who is a supporter of Hamas and has endorsed militant violence — that read: "Guys I have an Israeli in my first class I'm crying."

Hatred of Israel

On September 27, 2016, Sharab tweeted: “If Israel had a d**k Hillary Clinton would suck it fr’ @lululoveyyy ”

On August 26, 2014, Sharab tweeted: "‘@Hamed7official: When dumbass people say ‘I stand with Israel’... Stand with this d*ck! That's the only thing that is-rael.’ @karinedri"

On July 12, 2014, Nawal tweeted: "Dwight Howards team is probably ran by Zionists thats why he deleted that tweet ibnin kelb [son of a bitch]."

On April 12, 2014, Sharab tweeted: "Kuss {f**k} every zionist since Theodor Herzl"

On July 28, 2013, Sharab shared a graphic on Facebook, that featured the Hamas flag and text reading: "Free Palestine and F**k Israel." Sharab commented: “F**k them Kharas [Sh*ts]!!”

On May 5, 2013, Sharab tweeted: "Khara [s**t]=Israel Israel=Khara."

On March 29, 2013, Sharab tweeted: "Wallah those pics make me want to slit someones throat especially khara Israelis!!! Just sayin ‘Israel’ makes me MAD!!"

On December 31, 2012, Sharab tweeted: "@imjaycam fuk Israel!"

On December 28, 2013, Sharab tweeted: "One word that makes me sooooo fucking mad & makes me curse like crazy if i hear it, Israel!"

Demonizing Israel

On July 6, 2014, Sharab tweeted: "Condemn the Apartheid State of Israel for their Human Rights Violations against the Palestinian people. http://wh.gov/lFIlb CAN YALL SIGN."

On September 24, 2013, Sharab tweeted a graphic of skeletal hands using a fork and knife to carve up a prone keffiyeh-wearing figure. The knife was shaped as a Star of David and fork was painted as the American flag.

Anti-Black Bigotry

On May 2, 2016, Sharab tweeted: "At work & a group of abeed walk in & one of them goes ‘see there she goes that's my wife’ pointing at me like nigga who mein??" The term “abeed” — meaning “slave” in Arabic — is a derogatory reference to Black people.

On March 18, 2015, Sharab tweeted: "@DaBlake_23 good for you ya abeed."

On September 24, 2014, Sharab tweeted: "Abeed really are so nastyy they always have the nastiest shit to say about my body when i walk past them."

On July 30, 2013, Sharab tweeted: "or maybe she finally figured out that i dont want or like her abeed bf #PT."

Sharab has interacted on Twitter with Wala'a Mohammad — a member of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at Cleveland State University (CSU). 

On July 6, 2016, Mohammad tweeted: “@i_like_eggss allah yin3an al yahood [May Allah curse the Jews].”

On October 14, 2015, Mohammad tweeted: “I dare some one to try and tell me Israel is defending themselves. You just asking to get slapped.”

Sharab has interacted on Twitter with Samiha Allan, a 2016 graduate from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU), with a degree in business — who curses Jews.

On February 12, 2016, Allan tweeted: “If you're French, bonjour. If you're Spanish, hola. If you're Arab, salam. If you're Chinese, ni hao. If you're Jewish, kos imak [f**k your mother]. :)” 

On October 3, 2015, Allan tweeted: “Kuss em el yahood [f**k the jews].”

Sharab has also interacted on Twitter with Omar Najjar— who has spread hatred of Jews on social media, identified with Hamas and promoted terrorism.

On December 27, 2012, Najjar tweeted:“‘@Boargasim: What's the difference between a Jew and a pizza. The pizza doesn't scream when it gets put in the oven’RT, f**k jews.”

On August 5, 2015, Najjar tweeted: “@omgpalichick I recieved a B+ in that class. Damn jew teacher wouldn't raise it ”

On October 5, 2014, Najjar tweeted: “@rannnaaaa_ dope tbh. Almost beat the hell out of a Jewish lady lmao. But it was gucci.”

Sharab has interacted on Twitter with Basil Ali — an Ohio-based college student majoring in physical therapy, who is an an avid gun enthusiast and has advocated violence against Jews and Israelis. 

On July 26, 2014,tweeted a picture of himself wearing a Keffiyeh and aiming a pistol at the camera, adding: “F**K A ZIONIST.

On July 1, 2014, Ali tweeted a picture of children brandishing automatic weapons, participating in a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) child-soldiers training camp. Ali’s comment on the picture read:“Kill all them! #FreePalestine #IsraelWho?” 

On July 4, 2014, Ali tweeted: “2 Germans came to the store and they were cool as f**k!,” and then tweeted: “They were saying f**k Jews I hope they all die .”

On July 21, 2015, Ali tweeted: Man f**k the yahood [jews]! I swear they got it coming for them .”

Sharab has aslo interacted on Twitter with Kasem Abed, a college student at Cleveland State University (CSU), who spreads anti-Jewish and anti-Black bigotry on social media.

On June 16, 2015, Abed tweeted: “F**k the Jews.”

On October 5, 2013, Abed tweeted: “I'm praying those are gunshots outside. Get rid of a few Abeed.” The tweet used the term “abeed,” a derogatory term meaning “slave” in Arabic, to refer to Black people.

On February 23, 2013, Abed tweeted: “I'm bringing rocks to school on Monday, bout to turn shit up in the library. That Jew better run”

Sharab has interacted on Twitter, too, with Musa Ockeh — a student at Long Island University (LIU) who spreads hatred of Jews and Israel on social media.

On September 9, 2014, Ockeh tweeted: “Dude was so yahoodi [Jewish] he had a full head of hair and a bald spot only where the Yamaka should be. It was meant for him! Allah yi5zee [Allah Take (Kill) them].” 

On August 8, 2015, Ockeh tweeted: “@Israhhxo imagine 4 times in a week. Yup I did that. Screw the yahood [Jews].”

Sharab has also interacted on Twitter with Ayman Ramahi — who studies at Ohio State University (OSU) and spread hatred of Jews on Twitter.

On February 14, 2013, Ramahi tweeted “@zainabmustafaa YEA AND WELL KILL THE YAHOOD! [Jews]”

On February 27, 2013, Ramahi tweeted “THE DAY I DON'T go to the rec is the day Adam goes... Freakin yahood [Jews] I hate them.” 

Sharab has interacted on Twitter, as well, with Ali Amin — a student at Monroe Community College — who demonizes Israel on social media. 

On November 17, 2014, Amin tweeted: “I love hitler.”

The tweet was in response to a previous Twitter comment: “Can we just all hate zionists and shush.”
