Promoting Incitement

On May 21, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “THIS IS WHY WE CHANT FREE PALESTINE ...... A CEASEFIRE IS A JOKE TO THEM. #FreePalestine #AlAqsa #AlAqsaUnderAttack.”

Ganim’s tweet was in response to a video clip of a clash between Israeli police and Palestinians on the Al Aqsa compound in Jerusalem.

On May 21, 2021, clashes erupted outside of the Al-Aqsa compound after Palestinian worshippers threw rocks and petrol bombs at Israeli officers. Thousands of worshippers had gathered at the compound in solidarity with Gaza, following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas.

The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state. Such propaganda has led to multiple periods of violence against Israeli civilians.

Support for Terrorists

Ganim retweeted a September 6, 2021 tweet that read: “This prison break news from Palestine also signifies that the seemingly impenetrable Zionist colonial regime is in fact penetrable. They want us to believe they know our every step—the fangs of their surveillance machine are sharp indeed, but Palestinian skin is thicker.”

On September 6, 2021, six Palestinian prisoners escaped from the maximum-security Gilboa Prison in northern Israel. Following a 10-day manhunt, all the escaped prisoners were recaptured and imprisoned by Israeli authorities.

The escaped prisoners were convicted members of the terror organizations Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, the armed wing of Fatah, the main group in the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).

They were convicted and sentenced for their involvement in terror attacks carried out during the second intifada, which was characterized by more than 120 suicide bombings targeting Israeli civilians on buses and in cafes.

Ganim retweeted another September 6, 2021 tweet that read: “Good morning world. 6 Palestinian political prisoners escaped from Israel’s Gilbo’a prison through a self made tunnel.”

Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theory

On May 15, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “THE OPPRESSORS CONTROL OUR MEDIA. WAKE UP, YO. YOUR MONEY IS FUNDING THESE MONSTERS TO DO THIS, AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!!”

Ganim’s tweet included a video snippet of clashes between protesters and Israeli police in Sheikh Jarrah. The video snippet was produced by Muhammad Smiry, a TRT World journalist, who calls himself as “a Palestinian activist and influencer” and has spread anti-Israel incitement on TRT World, a Turkish state-owned media channel.

The assertion that Jews control the media has been traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Semitic fabricated text that depicts wealthy Jews conspiring to take over the world.

In May 2021, Palestinian violence erupted in anticipation of an Israel High Court ruling on eviction proceedings concerning over 70 Palestinian tenants illegally residing in Jewish-owned properties in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

Demonizing Israel

On June 5, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “...can we reinvest OUR money into OUR country and not Israel, who is ethnically cleansing Palestinians???”

On May 17, 2021, during Israel’s Operation Guardian of the Walls(OGW) against Hamas in Gaza, Ganim tweeted: “I’m sorry is the illegal terror state trying to say something ? I cannot hear you over your illegal crimes, which you shall be held accountable for soon enough. #FreePalestine🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸.”

Ganim’s tweet was in response to multiple tweets by the State of Israel’s official Twitter account, attempting to raise awareness about rockets that terror groups had fired at Israeli civilians.

In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.

On May 17, 2021, Ganim also tweeted to media personality Kim Kardashian: “@KimKardashian Hi sis [sister]. You’ve devoting your life to letting innocents out of jails... can you plz [please] do me a small favor & help us free Palestine ? It’s the land of my people and they’re being ethnically cleansed by Israel & you’re Armenian, you know our pain. Thx [Thanks] sis [sister] #FreePalestine.”

On May 15, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “#GenociedinGaza.”

On May 13, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “Can y’all also stop funding the ethnic cleansing of my people plz [please]? Just as a courtesy for eid (and the rest of existence) since you’re being so sincere…”

Ganim was responding to a tweet by United States President Joe Biden, who sent“greetings to all those celebrating Eid.”

Eid refers to the four day Islamic festival Eid al-Adha.

Ganim retweeted a May 10, 2021 tweet, that read: “This is not a war, this is systematic genocide. This is not a feud over land, this is ethnic cleansing. Israel is not a country, it’s a settler colony illegally occupying Palestine.”

Anti-Israel Activism

On May 14, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “#protestforpalestine today in #publicsquare 3pm-5pm est & then another at 5pm in #crockerpark🇵🇸#cleveland best show up and show out. This is our time to show the media that together as one, we will achieve all. #freepalestine #GazaUnderAttack #GenocideinGaza #Cleveland #cle.”

Ganim’s tweet referred to an anti-Israel rally she attended that day in Cleveland, titled: “The Nakba Continues; Stand with Sheik Jarrah.”

The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.

The Facebook event page for the protest said it was co-organized by multiple anti-Israel groups including Al-Awda the Palestine Right of Return Movement (Al Awda), Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) Cleveland and the Party for Socialism and Liberation - NE Ohio. The same event page said: “We call on the U.S. government to end all aid to Israel.”

Al-Awda has co-organized major anti-Israel rallies, where speakers have incited [00:14:30] hatred toward Jews. The organization works to demonize Israel. Al-Awda founder, Abbas Hamideh, is known for spreading anti-Semitism and supporting terror.

On May 21, 2021, Ganim tweeted photos of protesters from an Al-Awda rally that day and wrote: “CLEVELAND SAID FREE PALESTINE... DID YOU?🇵🇸♥️🇵🇸♥️🇵🇸♥️🇵🇸♥️#ProtestForPalestine.” One of the photos featured a woman holding a sign with the Israeli flag being crossed out and the text: “Boycott Israel.”

On May 22, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “Free Palestine till it’s backwards🇵🇸♥️🙌🏼✨#Cleveland #ProtestForPalestine #FreePalestine #SaveSheikhJarrah #FreeGaza.” her tweet featured a photo of a protester on the Free Stamp statue in Cleveland’s Willard Park.

On August 4, 2019, Ganim created a campaign page on Facebook to fundraise for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF).

The Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is a nonprofit organization reportedly set up to “provide urgent humanitarian care for Gaza’s children.” It has been financially linked with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which was shut down by the U.S. government for funneling donations to a terrorist organization.

Support for BDS

On May 24, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “Okay but fam... Stop delivering money to Israel.🤦🏽‍♀️

Ganim was responding to a tweet by U.S. President Joe Biden, that read: “The American Rescue Plan is helping get us out of this crisis and back on track—but we can’t stop now. We must pass the American Jobs Plan to deliver millions of good-paying jobs.”

On May 15, 2021, Ganim tweeted, referring to the May 14, 2021 protest the previous day: “Sis [Sister], we did the community a favor... why shop at Crocker [Park Mall] when your tax dollars fund murdering innocent people?! We were helping them boycott and they didn’t even say thank you, lol [laugh out loud]. #FreePalestine.”

Ganim’s tweet was responding to a tweet that read: “The Cleveland free Palestine protest went so hard they had to close Crocker Road lmao [laughing my a** off].”

Protesters reportedly held a rally on the sidewalks outside of Crocker Park Mall.

On May 15, 2021, Ganim tweeted: “For Palestine🇵🇸✊🏼✨🙌🏼🗣️#FreePalestine #BDS#ProtestForPalestine #FreeMyPeople #EndTheOccupation #BoycottIsrael #Palestine #Cleveland.”

Ganim’s tweet featured a photo of protesters marching with Palestinian flags and holding signs.

BDS

The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.

One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”

Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”

In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”

The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.

BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.

The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.

Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.

BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.

MSA

The MSA was  established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
