Emily Lemmerman
Emily Lemmerman is a Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) activist who participated in at least one anti-Israel event in New York City in 2024 in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
In 2022 and 2023, Emily Lemmerman was active in the DSA chapter in the city (NYC-DSA), specifically in its Central Brooklyn branch (CBK-DSA).
NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.
As of October 2025, Emily Lemmerman’s LinkedIn profile said she had been the communications director for the office of anti-Israel New York State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani from July 2022 through July 2024. In 2025, Mamdani, a member of NYC-DSA, was running for mayor of New York City on a socialist and abolitionist agenda.
Mamdani's anti-America and far-left activist network, which includes the DSA, helped him win the 2025 Democratic Party primary. He won the general election in November 2025.
DSA's ideology includes anti-American and abolitionist elements. DSA justified Hamas murdering 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023. Notable members are activist Linda Sarsour and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
Also as of October 2025, Emily Lemmerman's LinkedIn said she was a PhD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Institute for Work and Employment Research (IWER). MIT is located in Cambridge, MA.
