Emily Eisner

Emily Eisner [Emily Murphy Eisner] expressed support for the pro-Hamas encampment at Columbia University (Columbia).

The profilee's statements were made during an extended period of global antisemitism that began with the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds. Israel immediately launched a war against Hamas.

In January 2023, Eisner was an activist with the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), known as NYC-DSA.

DSA's ideology includes anti-American and abolitionist elements. DSA justified Hamas murdering 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023.

As of January 2026, Eisner was listed as a member of the transition team for New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani, serving on the Housing Committee.

Mamdani has called for dismantling capitalism and promoted hatred of the police. He has also justified Hamas terrorism and glorified terror supporters. On his first day as mayor, he revoked executive orders designed to combat antisemitism, including increased police protection at synagogues, and nullified a ban on city officials to boycott Israel.

As of February 2026, Eisner's LinkedIn said Eisner worked as a chief economist at the Fiscal Policy Institute (FPI).

As of the same date Eisner's LinkedIn said Eisner was located in New York, New York.
