The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.
Jon Golbe also participated in activism with the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) chapter in New York City (NYC-DSA) in 2019.
NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.
As of September 2025, Jon Golbe’s LinkedIn profile said he was an outreach specialist at the NYC Mayor's Public Engagement Unit, located in Brooklyn, New York.
