Overview

Lojain Saadat [Lojain Shawki Saadat] has promoted incitement and spread hatred of Israel on Twitter.

As of May 2021, Saadat was a member of the Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) Facebook group and had been a member for 6 years.

In 2015 and 2016, Saadat was affiliated with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at UTSA.

As of May 2021, Saadat ran her own photography business.

As of the same date, Saadat’s LinkedIn page said she received a Master of Science in Applied Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering (Johns Hopkins) in “May 2020,” with the Credential ID: CeDD :20FH-WXF2-L6TL and the Name: LO.

Saadat also wrote on LinkedIn that she studied Biomedical/Medical Engineering on Pre-Med Route at UTSA, from “2014 - 2018.”

Saadat’s LinkedIn page also said she was a Pharmacy Technician at Shoprite Pharmacy of Union from “Apr 2019 - Mar 2020,” and became a Certified Pharmacy Technician in September 2016.

Saadat wrote on her LinkedIn page that she was a licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Pharmacy Technician Board (PTCB) with the Credential number 10056597.

As of May 2021, the PTCB listed Saadat’s license as having “Expired” on 07/31/2020 after it was certified since 07/21/2014.

Saadat’s LinkedIn page also said she held certification in an ECG/Pharmacology with the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association with the Credential number E41500097 as well as being a BSL [Basic Life Support] Provider with the American Heart Association / American Stroke Association/.

As of May 2021, Saadat’s LinkedIn page listed her location as Ocala, Florida.

As of December 2020, Saadat used the alias “lojayyyy” on Instagram.

Incitement

On November 2, 2014, Saadat tweeted: “The yahood [Jews] are watching to see the Arab worlds reaction to closing down Al Aqsa so that they can take it down.”

In the fall of 2014, Palestinian leaders and media incited a wave of violence against Israelis with the lie that Israel intended to desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. This resulted in the November 18, 2014 Har Nof massacre, in which terrorists murdered six people in a Jerusalem synagogue during morning prayers.

The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a traditional pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state.

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On July 17, 2014, during Israel’s Operation Protective Edge (OPE), Saadat tweeted: “Israel's Operation Protective Edge is really Operation Kill All Palestinians.”

Israel commenced OPE in July 2014 to stop rocket fire targeting Israeli civilians and to destroy Hamas attack tunnels.

On July 21, 2014, Saadat tweeted: “@DannyNoorily @IDFSpokesperson Shame on you for supporting a genocide, a massacre, a second holocaust.”

On August 6, 2014, Saadat tweeted: “If they asked ‘Want to go to Starbucks?’ I answered Nah, don't feel like paying Israel to kill my people today.”

On August 23, 2014, Saadat tweeted: “Do you think israel is trying to kill off all the Pal... — I know Israel wants to kill of the Palestinians but u…”

On December 6, 2014, Saadat tweeted: “What's zionism? — The reason this world is gonna end.”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture.

On January 11, 2015, Saadat tweeted to the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Twitter account responding to a tweet after his joining other world leaders in a march of solidarity against Islamic terrorism in Paris following the Charlie Hebdo terror attacks.

Saadat wrote: “So nice of you to find time while terrorizing and killing Palestinian children and their families. @netanyahu.”

On the same day, Saadat tweeted: “Netanyahu, the terrorist who killed 17 journalists in Gaza last year, is condemning the attack in Paris. Irony at it's finest.

.”

SJP

SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.

The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.

SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.

SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.

SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.

Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.

MSA

The MSA was established by members of the Muslim Brotherhood in January 1963 at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, with the goal of "spreading Islam as students in North America." A 2004 FBI investigation uncovered an internal Muslim Brotherhood document in which a brotherhood leader identified the MSA as "one of our organizations."

The MSA reportedly has “nearly 600 chapters” located in the United States and Canada, and is “the most visible and influential Islamic student organization in North America,” boasting conferences, special events, publications, websites and other activities.

The organization includes a number of previous chapter presidents with explicit links to terrorist groups. Included are al-Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki (Colorado State University), Somali al-Shabaab militant leader Omar Shafik Hammami (University of South Alabama) and Pakistani Taliban recruiter Ramy Zamzam of the MSA's Washington, D.C. council.
