Emily Hemingway has spread anti-Semitism on social media. She is a contributor for theredelephants.com online magazine, a website that spreads anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and Holocaust denial.

Anti-Semitism

Hemingway uses the anti-Semitic “echoes” trope where three parentheses are put around a (((name))) to indicate the person is a Jew or part of a nefarious Jewish agenda.

On June 14, 2017, Hemingway tweeted: “The (((media))) uses its power to get people angry over nothing. It makes sense that these people would start shooting. They've been fed lies.”

On June 22, 2017, Hemingway tweeted: “We all know it was ((((( @LauraLoomer ))))) that got @bakedalaska suspended for Twitter. You claim to be on the right, but you're an SJW 😒”

On July 19, 2017, Hemingway commented “(((((ADL))))))” in a reference to the Jewish Anti-Defamation League (ADL) watchdog organization. Her Facebook comment came alongside a photo that stated “CALL THE ADL - I DON’T GIVE A F**K” together with a Pepe the frog cartoon character, widely associated with the Alt-right. The original post was on the Facebook page of Samaria Ruiz, who actively spreads anti-Semitism on social media.
