On June 25, 2026, Adam Sanchez posted on Instagram a link to an article in which he wrote that he was in support of activists “resisting U.S. and Israeli imperialism in the Middle East.” He also wrote that he was against a "broader project to shore up support for U.S. imperialism and racial oppression at home and abroad.”

On June 25, 2026, Sanchez wrote of “my evolution to anti-Zionism.” He later wrote: “But we also need to unapologetically teach about the current genocide in Gaza and the history of Palestine.”

Also on June 25, 2026, Sanchez wrote that the 1968 United Federation of Teachers strike was “a key moment where antisemitism was weaponized against the Black and Jewish left in the United States — a method that today is being utilized to silence critics of Israel’s genocide in Gaza.”

On July 29, 2025, while Adam Sanchez was managing editor of Rethinking Schools, the group urged the National Education Association (NEA) to drop support for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and to stand “against genocide in Gaza,” and wrote of “Israeli apartheid.”

On February 27, 2025, while Sanchez was a co-editor, Rethinking Schools published "Teaching Palestine: Lessons, Stories, Voices," whose editors’ introduction stated that the book was assembled “as the genocide in Gaza expanded and intensified” and that “we use this term, genocide, precisely.”

On January 5, 2025, Sanchez posted on Instagram a link to an article in which he wrote that Philadelphia teachers had been “targeted for their opposition to Israel’s genocide in Gaza and their support for Palestinians.”

On August 26, 2026, Adam Sanchez facilitated Philly DSA's Socialist Night School event titled: “Weaponizing Antisemitism: An Interactive History.” Action Network listed the event as “a collaboration between Philly DSA and Rethinking Schools” and stated that the workshop would explore “how antisemitism was redefined as criticism of Israel.”

On August 24, 2026, Sanchez posted on Instagram that his workshop with Philly DSA workshop was “the culmination of three years of research into the history and organizational infrastructure of the Zionist organizations that have weaponized antisemitism against students, educators and organizers fighting for justice in Palestine.”

On June 15, 2026, CODEPINK, an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group, listed Adam Sanchez as a special guest for an event called: “Challenging Zionism in Schools.”

On March 27, 2026, Sanchez said [00:01:09] at a School District of Philadelphia board meeting that the district was under attack for antisemitism and that “it’s necessary to understand how anti-Semitism has been redefined and weaponized,” and spoke [00:03:13] in defense of social studies director Ismael Jimenez.

In November 2025, Sanchez facilitated a “Teaching Palestine” workshop at the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) convention in Atlantic City. He wrote that a New Jersey congressman demanded the union cancel the workshop and that police swept the room with a bomb-sniffing dog.

On February 27, 2025, Adam Sanchez co-edited an anti-Israel book titled: "Teaching Palestine: Lessons, Stories, Voices." He wrote the lesson featured in Chapter Two titled: “The United States and Palestine-Israel: Fifty Years of Choices (1956–2006).” Sanchez, along with other anti-Israel teachers Hannah Gann, Keziah Ridgeway, Nick Palazzolo, co-wrote the lesson titled: “Teaching Solidarity: The Black Freedom Struggle and Palestine-Israel.”
