Siham Alfred
Siham Alfred is a university instructor who spread antisemitism at an event sponsored by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) at the University of Mary Washington (UMW SJP) in November 2023.
Alfred’s remarks occurred following a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.
The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron,” which was going on during the event where Alfred spoke.
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. It is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, has promoted antisemitism on religious grounds, and has called for a global caliphate and the destruction of the State of Israel.
Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians in mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has kidnapped children, families and the elderly, holding them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
Alfred also participated [video 2, 00:28:43] in the “Global [National] March on Washington: Free Palestine” demonstration in Washington, D.C., on November 4, 2023.
As of November 29, 2023, Alfred was listed as an adjunct instructor in mathematics at UMW. UMW is located in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Also as of November 29, 2023, Alfred’s LinkedIn said she received a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in mathematics from Rutgers University (Rutgers) in 1999. Rutgers is located in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
As of the same date, Alfred’s LinkedIn profile said she was located in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
