Vladimir Zykov

Vladimir Zykov participated in a pro-Hamas rally on October 21, 2023, following the murder of nearly 1,200 Israelis by Hamas on October 7, 2023. For more information on the attacks, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.

In April 2025, Vladimir Zykov promoted posts published by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group, and promoted a book written by PFLP member Walid Daqqa in April 2024.

Walid Daqqa was convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment for reportedly having been part of a PFLP terror cell that abducted and killed an Israeli soldier in 1984.

As of November 2024, Vladimir Zykov’s LinkedIn profile said he was a Russian-English interpreter and an independent language consultant and was located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On October 21, 2023, protesters held a pro-Hamas rally in central Philadelphia where activists praised Hamas leaders like Abu Obeida. During the march to the rally, activists repeatedly chanted in support of Israel’s destruction and called for “Intifada” – a show of support for terrorism. Chants in Arabic were more explicit, as they incited religious violence and proclaimed: “ash-shahid habib Allah [the martyr is beloved by God]!”

One such pro-terror chant also demanding Israel’s destruction was: “There is only one solution! Intifada revolution! There is only one solution! Intifada revolution! Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada! Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada! From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free! From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!”
