Promoting Incitement
On October 28, 2015, during the “Knife Intifada,” Nijem posted on Tumblr: “On Tuesday October 27th Israelis and Palestinians clashed during protests over the restricted worship the Israel gov. has enforced on Palestinians wanting to pray in the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.”Worship at the Al Aqsa mosque was restricted in October 2015 due to violence from the “Knife Intifada.”
In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians. The attacks were incited by Palestinian leaders propagating the libel that Israel intended to desecrate the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
On October 5, 2016, Nijem posted on Tumblr: “During the recent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians trying to protect the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem Palestinians used stones to fight off the Israeli forces who tried to force the Palestinians out of the mosque.”
Although romanticized as a form of “popular resistance,” rock throwing remains a deadly form of violence.
Support for Terrorists
On October 28, 2015 Nijem posted on Tumblr: “On Tuesday Israelis ‘BELIEVED’ that two men Shabaan Abu Shkeidem, 17, and Shadi Nabil Abd al-Muti Dweik, 22. We’re [sic] involved in the alleged stabbing of an Israeli soldier.”He continued: “Western society will label these individuals as ’terrorists’ because they are carrying out acts of violence against these ILLEGAL settlers. However, as I and the rest of the world who are by Palestine’s side see these victims as martyrs because they are resisting.”
On October 27, 2015, Shabaan Abu Shkeidem and Shadi Shadi Nabil Abd al-Muti Dweik were killed after they stabbed an Israeli soldier who was stationed at the Gush Etzion junction in the head .
On May 12, 2017, Nijem featured in John Jay SJP video on Instagram, leading a “Saltwater Challenge,” in solidarity with Palestinian inmates hunger-striking in Israeli prisons.
Supporting Violent Protesters
On May 15, 2019, Nijem spoke at a WOL event titled: “Nakba 71: The Great Return March Continues.”The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.
At the May 15, 2019 event, Nijem said: “Today on May 15 on a day like this maybe a little bit warmer 71 years ago, Palestinians were uprooted, kicked out, murdered and exiled out of their original homes to establish the zionist illegal occupation of Israel.”
Approximately 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza approached Israel’s border on March 30, 2018 as part of the “March of Return,” which was organized and funded by Hamas. This was used as a campaign of violent protests to spotlight the Palestinian demand to “return” to Israel.
The “right of return” is a Palestinian demand discredited as a means to eliminate Israel.
Nijem posed in an Instagram photo with WOL activists who held a sign that said: “LONG LIVE THE MARTYRS OF THE GREAT RETURN MARCH LONG LIVE PALESTINIAN RESISTANCE.”

The letter said: “Taking the precedent of the exclusion of the Medical Association of South Africa from the WMA, we submit that similar action regarding the IMA is justified by the facts.” It also said that “Failing to act…is to implicitly support the IMA position.”
The WMA President, Sir Michael Marmot, published a letter shortly thereafter saying: “the main authors of the letter have launched several attacks against the Israeli Medical Association with similar arguments in the past…Investigations have revealed no wrong doing or mishandling of the cases by the Israeli Medical Association.”

SJP
SJP is a student organization engaged in anti-Israel activity on North American college and university campuses.
The first chapter of SJP was founded in 2001 at the University of California at Berkeley by Professor Hatem Bazian. Bazian has spread classic anti-Semitism, reportedly promoted religious anti-Semitism and defended the Hamas terror group. In 2004, Bazian called for “intifada” in America.
SJP organizes anti-Israel campaigns, including running annual Israel Apartheid Weeks, often in collaboration with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Muslim Students Association (MSA) campus chapters.
SJP has been a major force in pushing the anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement on campuses. Chapters have initiated dozens of BDS resolutions in student governments, which have been proposed on or around Jewish holidays, a time when many Jewish students are off-campus.
SJP activists have reportedly physically assaulted, intimidated and harassed Jewish students, disrupted pro-Israel campus events and demonized pro-Israel campus organizations.
Chapters have often endorsed and campaigned for numerous terrorists and whitewashed terrorism.
BDS
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by Omar Barghouti in 2005 to challenge “international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.” BDS is an allegedly “Palestinian-led movement,” although leading BDS activists have admitted [00:01:01] this is not true.
One of the demands of BDS includes [point 3] what is generally known as the “right of return,” a demand discredited as a way to eliminate Israel. Barghouti said the “right of return” is a means to “end Israel’s existence as a Jewish state.”
Barghouti has said that BDS “aims to turn Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.”
In his activism, Barghouti has also said [00:05:55] regarding Israel: “Definitely, most definitely, we oppose a Jewish state in any part of Palestine. No…rational Palestinian, not a sellout Palestinian, will ever accept a Jewish state in Palestine.”
The movement has been linked to numerous terrorist organizations and received a public endorsement from Hamas in 2017.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been the infiltration of university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments and student groups, backed by their own anti-Israel members and affiliates, have proposed resolutions on some form of boycott of, or divestment from, Israel and Israeli-affiliated entities.
Boycott resolutions, although non-binding, have been passed by student governments on numerous North American campuses.
BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents on campus. On one campus, when the student government debated a BDS resolution, reports emerged of violent threats against those opposing it.
