Rusteen Honardoost

Rusteen Honardoost participated in Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) activism in 2025 in Los Angeles, California, organized by the city’s DSA chapter (DSA-LA).

DSA's anti-capitalist ideology features anti-American, anti-police and abolitionist elements. DSA also called for Israel's destruction and justified terrorism two days after Hamas murdered 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023.

In October 2023, the California DSA website indicated that Rusteen Honardoost was a member of DSA-LA.

DSA-LA, like national DSA, has spread hatred of America and the police. It has celebrated communism, called to destroy capitalism and defended America’s enemies. Regarding Israel, DSA-LA has expressed support for violence and called for Israel’s destruction, including on October 8, 2023.

As of September 2026, Rusteen Honardoost’s LinkedIn said he was a news writer for Static Media and its brands (/Film, TVline, and Looper), and was located in Los Angeles, California.

DSA-LA activists held a banner that said: "STOP U.S. MILITARY AID! NO ISRAELI APARTHEID & OCCUPATION! SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINE!"

The event was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. The outcome of the movement's goals would result in Israel's destruction. Within hours of the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, the BDS movement renewed its call for an anti-Israel boycott.

Anti-Israel activists spread antisemitism by denying Jewish history and religious rights to the Land of Israel in order to portray Jews as foreigners. They do this to delegitimize restored Jewish sovereignty and terms they use include accusing Israel of "colonialism," "occupation," and "imperialism."
