Nasser Najjar

Nasser Najjar has celebrated the death of Jews, spread antisemitism and expressed support for terrorism. Nijjar has also mocked victims of terrorism, and spread hatred of Israelis, Zionists, Israel and America.
Najjar is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement and is affiliated with Samidoun and the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM) organizations.
As of March 2024, Najjar’s LinkedIn profile said that worked at StoryHero Media as a social media coordinator since January 2022.
His LinkedIn also said he had worked in the “Palestinian Authority” region as a communication coordinator at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) from January 2013 until June 2015, and as a production manager at the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) from January 2012 until December 2012.
The United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA) has been infiltrated by Palestinian terrorist organizations to wage war against Israel under the guise of UN immunities.
UNRWA employs terrorists who indoctrinate children to hate Jews and kill Israelis. UNRWA facilities, schools and medical clinics are systematically used as terrorist command centers and weapons depots.
UNRWA also provided electricity to Hamas’s main data center and UNRWA employees have kidnapped and held hostage Israeli civilians.
As of the same date, Najjar’s LinkedIn said he graduated from the Visual College of Art and Design with a diploma in education, design and visual communications in 2022.
As of March 2024, Najjar’s LinkedIn said that he lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

On January 27, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “What a glorious day.” His tweet was in response to a tweet that said: “From Gaza, Nablus and Jenin, Palestinians are celebrating the mass murder of 8 Jews, praying at a Synagogue in Jerusalem on Shabbat…”
On January 27, 2023, on the evening of the Jewish Sabbath, Palestinian terrorist Alqam Khayri opened fire on Jewish civilians in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Jerusalem. Khayri killed seven people and wounded three before he was shot and killed by the police.
On January 28, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “What a glorious day for the resistance.” Nasser’s tweet was a comment on a tweet that said: “After a terror attack on a synagogue in Jerusalem in which 7 people were killed tonight, this is what the streets of Gaza looked like: celebrating the death of innocent civilians who were slaughtered because they were Jews.”
Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.

On March 25, 2023, Najjar shared a meme that said: “Call Zionists what they are: Nazi criminals.”
The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.
On March 10, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “I'm not sure what world you live in Zionist. You make up history is an excuse for u to drink children blood on breakfast. No wonder Europeans never wanted you over there.”
The accusation that Jews consume the blood of children has been an antisemitic blood libel since the 1100s.
On March 4, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “#Israeli food products taste like children's blood.” His post was part of a thread commenting on a tweet that said: “Since #Ramadan is less than 3 weeks away, here’s a reminder to #Boycott #Israeli dates.”

It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
On March 10, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “Resistance is justified on occupied lands.” His tweet was in response to a tweet that US Ambassador Tom Nides shared after a terror attack that said: “Praying for the families of the terror victims in Tel Aviv last night. Shabbat Shalom with hopes for more peaceful times.”
On the same date, Najjar tweeted: “Please🤣🤣🤣. Israel can't force Hamas to stop. Hamas rockets were barely reaching Gaza boarders. Nowadays, Hamas rockets make you all hide for weeks if they want to. 1 victory is all the Palestinians need. 1 and u won't exist.”
On March 5, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “Resistance is justified. By any means necessary.” His tweet was in response to a tweet sharing a photo and link to a Haaretz newspaper article titled: “When Plane Hijackings were Palestinian Terrorists’ Weapon of Choice,” depicting a plane hijacking by the Black September terror organization at an Israeli airport.

In October 2021, six prisoners affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) armed wing Al-Quds Brigades chose to prolong their hunger strike in protest against their administrative detention by Israel. The six men were Kayed al-Fasfus, Miqdad al-Qawasmeh, Alaa Aaraj, Hisham Abu Hawwash, Shadi Abu-Akr and Ayyad Hureimi.
On April 10, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “It’s on them. They decided to live on stolen land” about several Jewish women killed in a Palestinian terror attack earlier that week.
On April 7, 2023, British-Israeli sisters Maia and Rina Dee were killed by Palestinian terrorists in a shooting attack while the family was driving on a highway in Israel’s Jordan Valley. Their mother, Lucy, sustained critical injuries and died three days later. The terrorists who murdered the Dees were killed on May 4, 2023 when Israeli soldiers attempted to arrest them.
On April 10, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “I advise you to leave to Poland or Ukraine or wherever you are from before you meet the same fate.” His tweet was responding to a tweet that said: “In an incredible call for unity, the Dee family, who lost two daughters & a mother in the Jordan Valley massacre, asked for people to post photos of themselves with Israel's flag….”
One way that anti-Israel activists spread antisemitism is to claim [00:06:46] that Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews, do not descend from the ancient Israelites. This claim alleges that Jews are white Europeans who lack a connection to the Land of Israel. The Khazar myth is a common version of this claim which is used to delegitimize [00:02:16] the existence of the modern State of Israel.
On April 9, 2023, Najjar tweeted: “Long live the resistance.✊” He was responding to a tweet by Yoseph Haddad that showed a picture of three pairs of siblings murdered in recent terror attacks. Haddad wrote: “Brothers, sisters, victims of Palestinian terrorism💔.”

On May 11, 2021, Najjar Nasser posted on Instagram: “Participate tomorrow at the Art Gallery Vancouver-for human rights, for equality, for civilians, for Palestine” accompanied by a flyer avertising a protest the following day.
The flyer that said: “Save Sheik Jarrah / We stand with Al Aqsa, in support of our brothers and sisters in Palestine. / Save Sheikh Jarrah / Wednesday May 12 - 5:00 pm / Vancouver Art Gallery.”
Incitement surrounding Al-Aqsa and Sheikh Jarrah were leading factors in Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists firing over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at Israeli population centers from May 10 to 21, 2021. In response to rocket attacks from Gaza, Israel launched “Operation Guardian of the Walls (OGW),” striking military targets in the terrorist-controlled enclave.
On May 12, 2021, Najjar Nasser shared on Instagram a video from the protest advertised the day before. Protesters could be heard chanting [00:00:09]: “Viva viva Palestina,” and [00:00:26]: “Free free Palestine,” and [00:01:05]: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!” is a chant used [00:02:52] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel.
On May 14, 2021, Najjar Nasser promoted on Instagram a May 15th protest co-organized by pro-terror groups Samidoun and Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM). Najjar Nasser wrote: “My fellow Vancouverites, defend civilians and save lives by participating / #gazaunderattack #savesheikhjarrah #palestine #FreePalestine / Share as much as possible and see you tomorrow.”
On May 15, 2021, Najjar shared on Instagram a video taken from the protest. Protesters could be heard chanting [00:00:50]: “Free free Palestine,” and [00:01:50]: “From the river to the sea Palestine will be free.”

The post was accompanied by an event flyer titled: “Block the Boat Vancouver” scheduled for June 7-9 2021, and co-organized by Samidoun and PYM. The post was an invitation to “stand with workers and community organizers” to block an Israeli cargo ship from docking at the Vancouver port.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
