Luisa Martinez
Luisa Martinez [Luisa Longbois Martinez] has glorified a violent criminal, expressed support for terrorists and spread hatred of America and white people. She has also praised America's enemies and celebrated communist mass murderers and called for the destruction of Israel.
As of August 2025, Martinez was listed on the Democratic Socialists of America's (DSA) website as a member of its 2025-2027 National Political Committee (NPC). She has been a member of Portland DSA since 2018.
DSA supports the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
Given Martinez’s role in the DSA, she is part of DSA’s broader anti-America and anti-Israel network, which includes 2025 New York mayoral candidate and DSA member Zohran Mamdani.
Mamdani's anti-America and far-left activist network, which includes the DSA, helped him win the 2025 Democratic Party primary. He won the general election in November 2025.
DSA's ideology includes anti-American and abolitionist elements. DSA justified Hamas murdering 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023. Notable members are activist Linda Sarsour and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
As of August 2025, Martinez was listed as located in Vancouver, Washington.
On December 23, 2024, Martinez posted on X, referring to Luigi Mangione as "a real hero."
On October 7, 2023, Martinez posted on X: "Absolutamente, hermano [Absolutely, brother]...
," and shared an October 7, 2023 post that said: "El pueblo de Palestina tiene el derecho a resistor.. [The people of Palestine have the right to resist...]."
Anti-Israel activists use the term “resistance” to refer to violence and terror perpetrated against Israeli civilians and their allies. It is used to glorify and encourage anti-Israel and anti-Semitic violence. Anti-Israel activists chant slogans such as: “Resistance by any means necessary!” and “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” in response to terror attacks.
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.

On August 6, 2025, Martinez posted on X: "Check out this excellent statement please," and linked to a DSA statement that featured a photo of the Palestinian terrorist Leila Khaled.
Leila Khaled is a leading member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and participated in the hijacking of TWA Flight 840 in 1969 and El Al Flight 219 in 1970. As of 2017, Khaled was a member of PFLP's Political Bureau. Khaled has said that the second intifada failed because it was not violent enough, advocated [00:36:07] for the use of children in terror activities and compared Zionists to Nazis.
On November 12, 2024, Martinez wrote on X that the U.S. government is "the cruelist, most murderous force on the planet."
On November 28, 2024, Martinez posted on X: "...f**k Columbus and f**k them Pilgrims."
On March 10, 2025, Martinez posted on X, referring to anti-Israel agitator Mahmoud Khalil: "What is happening to Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil is an attack against all immigrants speaking out against US imperialism..."
In the July 28, 2025 episode of the Rev Left Radio podcast, titled: "Springs of Revolution: The Revolutionary Left of the DSA Struggles to Shape the Organization," Martinez referred [00:44:23] to the U.S. as "the largest terrorist nation in the world."
On August 6, 2025, Martinez posted on X: "Check out this excellent statement please," and linked to a DSA statement that said, referring to the "Axis of Resistance": "It also is worth emphasizing that various non-socialist countries and organizations have stood up to the genocidal state of Israel. These include Yemen, Iran, Syria, and Lebanon."
The Axis of Resistance is an informal coalition of Iran-backed paramilitary actors in the Middle East created in the 1980s. The network includes Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and Shiite militia groups in Iraq and Syria. Axis members receive arms, military training and financial aid from Tehran. The group participated in the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel, supported Syria's Assad regime and perpetrated numerous acts of terrorism in the region.
Martinez reposted a May 8, 2025 post on X that said: "Dos antimperialistas [Two anti-imperialists] IBRAHIM TRAORÉ
NICO MADURO," and featured a photo of the two dictators shaking hands.
Ibrahim Traoré became the interim president of Burkina Faso after leading a military coup in 2022.
Nicolás Maduro is the president of Venezuela, whom the U.S. Department of State has labeled a dictator and designated his regime illegitimate.
On October 30, 2024, Martinez posted on X: "
The historical legacy of Cuba is the perfect contrast to it's greatest enemy, the US. The latter stands as the greatest terrorist power in the world. The former a force that, despite massive economic sanctions, still stands as a champion for socialism and human dignity."
On August 6, 2025, Martinez posted on X: "Check out this excellent statement please," and linked to a DSA statement featuring photos of Mao Zedong, Vladimir Lenin and Ho Chi Minh.
An estimated 65 million people died as a result of Mao Zedong's policies.
Vladimir Lenin (1870-1924) was the communist leader of the Bolshevik Party. He founded Soviet Russia in 1917 and was its dictator until he died in 1924. He was the dictator of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) in 1922-1924.
Ho Chi Minh (1890-1967) was the communist leader of Vietnam and the founder of the Indochina Communist Party. Under his rule, an estimated 3.8 million Vietnamese, including women and children, lost their lives from political violence.
On November 25, 2024, Martinez posted on X: "Forever greatful to Comandante Fidel Castro. To think of all the stupid lies I heard about him in south Florida, it deeply burdened my politics. To unlearn the lies about him & the Cuban revolution was the beginning of developing my consciousness as a socialist. Viva Fidel ."
The Cuban Revolution was an armed insurrection in Cuba in 1959 led by Fidel Castro that established a socialist state. The new regime was characterized by repression of dissent, torture and forced labor camps. Thousands of deemed enemies were executed by firing squads in stadiums and prisons, often with little or no due process.
Martinez reposted a November 6, 2023 post on X advertising an event titled: "FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA: Palestinian Resistance & the Threat of Regional War."
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
The post said: "Join us this Thursday to learn about the Palestinian resistance to occupation and genocide, the threat of regional war in the Middle East, and our responsibility to uproot Zionism and end all support for Israel's colonization of Palestine."
As of July 2025, Martinez was a member of Springs of Revolution (SOR), a political grouping within the DSA. SOR's stated aim is to transform the DSA "into a mass revolutionary force advancing anti-imperialist politics with Palestine as our compass!"
In March 2025, Martinez helped launch 21st Century Socialism (21CS), a "third world Marxist Leninist caucus" within the DSA.
Martinez works closely with fellow NPC and SOR member Ahmed Husain, SOR's New York City candidate.
Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is America’s largest socialist organization. Its core ideology includes anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Western and abolitionist elements.
Following the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attacks against Israel, DSA condemned Israel, expressed support for Hamas, endorsed anti-Israel rallies and called for members to engage in anti-Israel activism. It condemned Israeli retaliatory attacks against the IRGC and Hezbollah, as well as the U.S. attacks against the Houthi terror organization, whose slogan reads: "...Death to America / Death to Israel / A Curse upon the Jews...”
DSA first endorsed the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement in 2017 and it has also condemned sanctions against countries like Iran and Cuba.
The group endorses far-left politicians on the local, state and federal levels. DSA also promotes anti-Israel agitators, including DSA members Rashida Tlaib, Zohran Mamdani and Linda Sarsour.
Young Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA), DSA’s youth section active in high schools and colleges, has co-organized anti-Israel protests across the U.S. since October 7, 2023, particularly the April 2024 pro-terror encampments on university campuses.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement was founded by pro-terror activist Omar Barghouti in 2005 to turn “Israel into a pariah state, as South Africa once was.” Barghouti has also called for Israel's destruction and the BDS movement demands would result in that same goal.
BDS initiatives include calling on institutions and individuals to divest from Israeli-affiliated companies, promoting academic and cultural boycotts of Israel, and organizing anti-Israel rallies, protests and campaigns.
The movement’s most notable achievement has been infiltrating university campuses through lobbying for “BDS resolutions.” In these cases, student governments propose resolutions to boycott or divestment from Israel or Israeli-affiliated entities. BDS activity is often aggressive and disruptive. It has been noted that universities that pass BDS resolutions see a marked increase in anti-Semitic incidents and pro-terror activism on campus.
