On September 19, 2024, Mossallam shared on Facebook another user’s post about Israel that said: “In generations to come, people will marvel how the world gave this Apartheid regime so much leeway. They will marvel, of course, only after the collapse of this regime.” The same post said: “More and more people are realizing the true nature of the last pariah state on earth, and its unraveling and downfall has begun.”
Also on September 19, 2024, Mossallam shared on Facebook another user’s post condemning the coordinated strike on Hezbollah terrorists using exploding pagers in Lebanon on September 17 and 18, 2024. The post claimed the anti-terror operation was a “mass attack against over 2000 unsuspecting civilians carrying an electronic device” and alleged that it was an “act of the worst types of modern terrorism.”
Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
The same post that Mossallam shared also said: “...since the perpetrator is Isra*el, and the victims brown-skinned Arabs, politicians and the media turn a blind eye to yet another terroristic, dastardly, inhumane bombing that cannot be justified under any standards of any law.”
On August 3, 2024, Mossallam shared on Facebook a post from the anti-Israel organization, Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP).
The post that Mossallam shared said: Apartheid, hafrada, segregation. All of these words have the same meaning. These systems remain the backbone of discrimination and dehumanization by racist governments like apartheid South Africa and apartheid Israel today.” The post showed a historical photo of activists holding a sign that read: “ZIONISM & APARTHEID. PARTNERS IN OPPRESSION.”
Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture. Zionism is a core part of the identity of most Jews.
On July 31, 2024, CAIR-NY posted a Facebook video featuring Mossallam speaking at a press conference held to demand a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
Mossallam said [00:02:27]: “...Antisemitism is also on the rise. This is all because of the ongoing genocide. If the Israeli government and its IDF [Israel Defense Forces] did not commit this genocide, you won’t have this animosity.”
Mossallam also claimed [00:03:17] that the antisemitism doesn’t just come from the “genocide” but that it “all stems from the occupation of Palestine. We call for an immediate end to this occupation by the Israeli genocidal settler colonial government.”
On May 8, 2024, Mossallam posted on Facebook: “...your tax money was being used to commit g3n0c!de…this is what that [sic] government has been doing to Palestinians ever since its inception in 1948…”
On May 5, 2024, Mossallam posted on Facebook: “They claim they are the ‘only democracy’ in the middle east. They are proving and showing the world that they are nothing more than a racist terror state who thinks they own the world, including the U.S.. The world, including myself, saw the reality of the genocide in Gaza via Al Jazeera network…”
In November 2023, the X account @gary_weiss shared Mossallam’s Facebook post that said: “...I pray that the light behind all this misery we are seeing is that Z!@nism is finally getting exposed worldwide and the world frees itself from its grips starting here in America.”
