Ibrahim Mossallam

Ibrahim Mossallam [Ibrahim R. Mossallam] is an airline pilot who expressed support for Hamas terrorism, spread antisemitism and promoted hatred of Israel. He showed support for Hamas on October 7, 2023, when Hamas terrorists murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped hundreds more.

As of November 2024, Mossallam was listed as board vice president of the New York chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), known as CAIR-NY. Mossallam was appointed as CAIR-NY’s board chairman in 2021.

Also as of November 2024, Mossallam was listed on the CAIR-NY website as serving as a board member of the New York chapter of American Muslims for Palestine (AMP). He was also listed as a council member of the New York chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS).

On July 31, 2024, Mossallam identified himself at a CAIR press conference as the representative of the Islamic Leadership Council of New York (Majlis Ash-Shura).

On November 21, 2023, the New York Post published an article about Mossallam titled: “United Airlines suspends pilot who allegedly praised Hamas terrorists as ‘brave people’ on October 7.” The article reported that Mossallam had been suspended by United Airlines, for whom he worked as a pilot, and placed on leave with pay.

On March 3, 2024, Ibrahim Mossallam was listed as a graduate student pursuing a master’s of religious leadership (MIRL) at Boston Islamic Seminary (BIL), which is located in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

As of November 2024, Mossallam’s wife’s Facebook page said they lived in Arverne, New York.
