Eric Horowitz

Eric Horowitz called for Israel’s destruction, spread antisemitism and promoted hatred of Israel in late 2023 during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. As of the same date, Horowitz was a law student at the City University of New York (CUNY).

Horowitz made his remarks in the wake of Hamas terror atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

As of December 2023, Horowitz was [00:00:16] a third-year student at CUNY Law, slated to graduate in 2024. As of the same date, he was serving [00:00:23] his second year on the board of CUNY Law’s Jewish Law Students Association (JLSA). He was also active [00:00:20] in the group during his first year at CUNY Law.

CUNY Law JLSA spreads hatred of Israel, Zionism and the United States. The group co-authored a Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement resolution that passed in the CUNY School of Law Student Government.

Horowitz was also affiliated with anti-Israel campus group Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) in October 2022, and with the pro-terror activist group Within Our Lifetime (WOL) in late 2023.

Horowitz is a supporter [00:00:40] of BDS.

As of February 7, 2024, Horowitz was listed online as being “involved in organizing around Palestinian solidarity.”

As of the same date, Horowitz was also listed online as being an intern at Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR), which describes itself as “the national media watch group…offering well-documented criticism of media bias and censorship.”

As of February 7, 2024, Horowitz was listed online as having graduated from Hunter College (Hunter), which is part of CUNY, with a bachelor’s degree in American politics and commercial media in 2019. CUNY is located in New York, New York.
