Lisbel Feliz Garo reportedly signed an anti-Israel statement in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. At the time of signing, Lisbel Feliz Garo's name was entered incorrectly as Lisbel Feliz Gaeo.

The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

The January 15, 2024 statement Lisbel Feliz Garo signed accused Israel of an “ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza” as well as “apartheid [and] ethnic cleansing,” during its war against Hamas.

Signatories were affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY), and the statement sought to develop “a SUNY-wide Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) Movement…at all 64 SUNY campuses.”

As of March 2026, Lisbel Feliz Garo's LinkedIn said she graduated from Binghamton University (Binghamton) with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology in 2024. Binghamton is part of SUNY and is located in Binghamton, New York.

As of the same date, Lisbel Feliz Garo's LinkedIn also said she was studying for a master's degree in education at Hunter College (Hunter), slated to graduate in 2026. Hunter is part of the State University of New York (CUNY) and is located in New York, New York.
