Cara Tobe is a leader in an organization that justified the Hamas terrorism of October 7, 2023. Tobe has also promoted hatred of America and the police.

Tobe has called for Israel's destruction, spread hatred of Israel and engaged in anti-Israel activism. Tobe is a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of August 2025, Tobe was listed on the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) website as a member of the 2025-2027 National Political Committee (NPC), "DSA’s primary political leadership." She was also a member of the DSA NPC in 2023-2025. Tobe has been active with DSA since at least 2021.

Given Tobe’s role in the DSA, she is part of DSA’s broader anti-America and anti-Israel network, which includes 2025 New York mayoral candidate and DSA member Zohran Mamdani.

Mamdani's anti-America and far-left activist network, which includes the DSA, helped him win the 2025 Democratic Party primary. He won the general election in November 2025.

DSA's ideology includes anti-American and abolitionist elements. DSA justified Hamas murdering 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023. Notable members are activist Linda Sarsour and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.
