NYC-DSA is an anti-American and anti-Israel activist group. It celebrated the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023, by holding a rally the next day.
One event Alexandra Chan participated in was canvassing for NYC-DSA member Zohran Mamdani, the anti-Israel, 2025 democratic candidate for New York City mayor.
