Abdullah Farooq

Abdullah Farooq has expressed support for terrorism and promoted hatred of America and Israel as a Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) leader. The DSA has praised America's enemies and spread anti-Semitism. Farooq is also a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Farooq is the co-author [00:00:10] of the Carnation Program (Carnation DSA), DSA's four-year plan to grow its political influence nationally. The program's name is inspired by a military coup and among its goals are to bring an "end to U.S. militarism" and the eventual [p.1] "end of capitalism."

Farooq has expressed [00:00:01] support for 2025 New York mayoral candidate and DSA member Zohran Mamdani.

DSA's ideology includes anti-American and abolitionist elements. DSA justified Hamas murdering 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023. Notable members are activist Linda Sarsour and Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib.

As of July 2025, Farooq was listed as a lead researcher at Progressive International, a collective of organizations that aspire for a "Post-capitalist" world.

As of the same date, Farooq's LinkedIn said he was located in Pasadena, California.
