Chad Haines

Chad Haines signed an anti-Israel letter during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds more that day. For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.

The May 8, 2024 letter Chad Haines signed accused Israel of “genocide” in its war against Hamas and showed support for the pro-terror campus encampments. It also endorsed elements of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of May 2025, Chad Haines was listed as an associate professor in the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies at Arizona State University (ASU).

As of August 2025, Chad Haines was also listed as co-director of ASU's Center of Muslim Experience in the United States (CME-US).
