Overview
Nadine Maher Taha has celebrated anti-Israel violence and demonized Israel.Taha has also spread violent hatred of Israel and anti-Semitism and expressed support for the terrorist organization Hamas, while in high school.

Celebrating Anti-Israel Violence
On March 28, 2019, Taha tweeted a photo calling people to celebrate the first anniversary of the “March of Return.”On March 30, 2018, some 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza approached Israel’s border to take part in “Land Day Protests,” or the “March of Return.” The march was organized and funded by Hamas as a campaign of violent protests to spotlight the Palestinian demand to “return” to Israel. The “right of return” has since been discredited as a means to eliminate Israel.
Demonizing Israel
During Israel’s “Operation Guardian of the Walls(OGW)” against Hamas in Gaza, Taha retweeted a May 17, 2021 tweet that said: “F**king disgusting. This is American funded genocide #GazaUnderAttak #PalestinianLivesMatter.”In May 2021, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorists fired over 4,300 rockets from Gaza at major population centers in Israel. Israel responded by launching OGW, carrying out targeted military strikes in Gaza.
Taha retweeted a May 12, 2020 tweet that claimed: “...The Nakba was calculated ethnic cleansing.”
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term often used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by defining it as a catastrophe.
Taha retweeted a November 11, 2018 tweet that said the Israeli military “routinely turns Palestinian homes in Gaza into smoking embers and ash.”
High School Violent Hatred of Israel
On October 13, 2015, during the “Knife Intifada,” Taha tweeted a photo of a Keffiyeh-masked person wrapped in a Palestinian flag with the caption that read: “when injustice becomes law…Resistance becomes a duty.”In October 2015, there was an upsurge in violence across Israel incited by Palestinian political and religious leaders. The wave of stabbings, known as the “Knife Intifada,” was characterized by young Palestinians throughout the country stabbing and attempting to stab Israeli civilians.
On September 22, 2015, Taha tweeted: “All I see are 14 commands broken by ISIS [Islamic State of Iraq and Syria] and Zionists...” with a graphic with war rules with the headline: “Muhammad’s (PBUH) [Peace Be Upon Him] commands in Wars.”
On April 27, 2013, Taha tweeted: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!!...”
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free” is a chant calling to dismantle the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state.
High School Anti-Semitism
On January 22, 2015, Taha tweeted: “... why not to nazis? They have Zionist settlements built once awhile (camps you could say) their leader is exactly like Hitler.”The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.
High School Support for the Terror Group Hamas
On January 22, 2015, Taha tweeted: “...Hamas is a group that was solely created to fight off the real terrorist because the UN [United Nations] isn't.”Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 2] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
