Ahmad Twam
Ahmad Twam participated in multiple pro-terror rallies in October 2023, days after Hamas terrorists murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped hundreds more on October 7, 2023. For more information on the attacks, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.
In October 2024, Ahmad Twam was arrested along with two other suspects and charged with “Ethnic Intimidation and Terroristic Threats, among other offenses” for threatening three Jewish victims in June 2024. The incident occurred outside a pool hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On October 17, 2023, ten days after Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, a local anti-Israel activist group held a pro-terror rally in Philadelphia.
Protesters participated in chants calling [00:00:19] for Israel’s destruction and promoting [00:00:01] hatred of Israel. Later in the evening, protesters spread religious incitement by chanting: “Be-ruh, be-dam, nifdik ya, Aqsa [With spirit, with blood, we will redeem you, Aqsa]!” The chant referred to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
The allegation that Jews “threaten” to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a pretext for Arab attacks on Jews long before the existence of the modern Jewish state. Such propaganda has led to multiple periods of violence against Israeli civilians.

On October 21, 2023, protesters held a pro-Hamas rally in central Philadelphia where activists praised Hamas leaders like Abu Obeida. During the march to the rally, activists repeatedly chanted in support of Israel’s destruction and called for “Intifada” – a show of support for terrorism. Chants in Arabic were more explicit, as they incited religious violence and proclaimed: “ash-shahid habib Allah [the martyr is beloved by God]!”
One such pro-terror chant also demanding Israel’s destruction was: “There is only one solution! Intifada revolution! There is only one solution! Intifada revolution! Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada! Intifada, Intifada! Long live the Intifada! From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free! From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!”
