Melee Lee
Melee Lee [M.E. Lee] ripped down posters of two young Israeli children kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and held hostage in Gaza since October 2023.
The incident occurred in February 2025 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, outside of the Made by Me pottery studio.
Hamas kidnapped the civilians, including women, children and the elderly, during a series of terror atrocities and war crimes that left approximately 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Hamas executed the terror attacks on October 7, 2023.
Other Hamas war crimes included mass murder, torture, rape and beheadings. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”
As of October 2020, Melee Lee was listed as the vice president of Made by Me pottery studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
On February 20, 2025, the day the dead bodies of two Israeli children, Kfir and Ariel Bibas, were returned to Israel from Gaza, Lee appeared in a video posted on X, ripping down posters raising awareness that Hamas kidnapped them in October 2023.
Kfir was nine months old and Ariel was four years old at the time of the kidnapping.
In the video, Lee can be seen standing on a ladder and wearing a face mask, while ripping down the hostage posters that were taped to a lamppost.
Shiri Bibas and her two young children, Kfir and Ariel, were kidnapped from the safe room of their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, 2023, and taken hostage to Gaza by armed terrorists. Forensic examinations later revealed that terrorists murdered the children “with their bare hands.” In February 2025, after more than 500 days in captivity, their bodies were returned to Israel.
On February 21, 2025, the same X account posted: "Update: A group of Cambridge residents and professors from Harvard and MIT put the Bibas brothers posters back up..."
On Saturday, October 7, 2023, approximately 2,900 heavily armed Hamas terrorists breached Israel’s border with Gaza. They executed numerous war crimes on civilians, including mass murder, beheadings of children, rape of men and women, torture, kidnappings and mutilation.
Hamas broadcast videos of their butchery on social media, often to victims’ accounts for families to see. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.” As of November 10, 2023, approximately 1,200 Israelis, the vast majority of them civilians, were murdered during the attacks. Hamas kidnapped 242 Israelis, including at least 30 children. At least 3,500 people were wounded, many severely.
A terrorist detained by Israel admitted he raped an Israeli woman when he broke into a kibbutz house during the October 7, 2023 attack. In March 2024, a former hostage of Hamas publicly stated she was sexually abused and tortured while in captivity.
