Aida Campos

Aida Campos [Aida Esmeralda Campos] was arrested at a pro-Hamas encampment at Arizona State University (ASU) during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

On April 26, 2024, Aida Campos was arrested for third-degree criminal trespass at the ASU encampment.

The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

On April 30, 2024, Aida Campos was listed as one of the 20 plaintiffs in a lawsuit against ASU. The plaintiffs were suspended by the school following their arrest at the unlawful pro-Hamas encampment. They were also “not permitted back on ASU campus grounds” and were “prohibited from communicating with any ASU faculty or staff.”

As of March 2025, Aida Campos's LinkedIn profile said she worked as an adjunct assistant professor at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) and was located in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore area.

As of the same date, Aida Campos's LinkedIn said she graduated from ASU with an MFA in creative writing in 2024.
