Yasmine Abouali

Yasmine Abouali was arrested at a pro-Hamas encampment at Dartmouth College (Dartmouth) during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

On July 2, 2024, Campus Reform reported that Yasmine Abouali was arrested for “criminal trespassing” at the Dartmouth encampment on May 1, 2024. Dartmouth is located in Hanover, New Hampshire.

The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of April 2025, Yasmine Abouali's LinkedIn profile said she was studying for a bachelor's degree in history at Dartmouth, slated to graduate in 2026. Her Linkedin also said she attended a high school in the United Kingdom.

In January 2024, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat Gazette reported that Yasmine Abouali was from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Also that month, Yasmine Abouali met with U.S. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona when he came to Dartmouth to discuss American campus life in the midst of ongoing anti-Israel protests.
