Weronika Kosciolek reportedly signed an anti-Israel statement in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

The January 15, 2024 statement Weronika Kosciolek signed accused Israel of an “ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza” as well as “apartheid [and] ethnic cleansing,” during its war against Hamas.

Signatories were affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY), and the statement sought to develop “a SUNY-wide Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) Movement…at all 64 SUNY campuses.”

As of March 2026, Weronika Kosciolek's LinkedIn said she graduated from Stony Brook University (SBU) with a bachelor's degree in environmental design, policy, and planning in December 2024. SBU is part of SUNY and is located in Stony Brook, New York.

As of the same date, Weronika Kosciolek's LinkedIn said she was studying for a master 's degree in regional planning at Cornell University (Cornell), slated to graduate in May 2027. Cornell is located in Ithaca, New York.
