Austin Franco has spread hatred of Jews professionally and online.

The profilee's statements were made during an extended period of global antisemitism that began with the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds. Israel immediately launched a war against Hamas.

As of July 2026, Franco's since-deleted LinkedIn said he was studying for a bachelor's degree in industrial and labor relations at Cornell University (Cornell), slated to graduate in May 2028.

Cornell is located in Ithaca, New York.

On June 8, 2026, Franco gained notoriety following his exchange with a potential employer that went viral after he posted Franco's response to him on X. In the message, Franco wrote: "Not interested in working for a jew. Thanks."

On July 28, 2026, in an interview with journalist Piers Morgan, Franco said, referring to the above incident: "Let's say you're around 10 midgets, right? And all of them are really mean to you. They step on your feet, right? You're going to say...'Listen, I don't want to work for you because you're a midget.'"

In the same interview, Franco also said, referring to Israel and its war against Hamas: "Listen, Piers, when you have a genocidal country that's made up of 90% Jews that insist upon killing Palestinians and reporters and dragging America into wars abroad, no, I'm not gonna wanna associate with those people."

The term “genocide” was coined in 1942 and first used at the Nuremberg Trials of Nazi war criminals. Since Israel's founding in 1948, anti-Israel activists have accused Israel of "genocide" in an attempt to compare Jews to Nazis and delegitimize the creation of a Jewish state in the Land of Israel.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped 251 and wounded thousands. War crimes included various systematic sexual crimes like gang rape and genital mutilation. Men and women were violated, even after being murdered. Victims who survived that day, including hostages, endured forms of humiliation and torture.

Gazans working in the targeted Israeli villages provided intelligence to Hamas on which families to kill and torture, including long-time employers. Many Palestinian civilians joined in and celebrated the attacks. Hamas livestreamed their crimes on social media, including to victims’ accounts for families to see.
