Gail Holst-Warhaft
Gail Holst-Warhaft signed an anti-Israel letter during Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists. Israel launched the war after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks.

The May 8, 2024 letter Gail Holst-Warhaft signed accused Israel of “genocide” in its war against Hamas and showed support for the pro-terror campus encampments. It also endorsed elements of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
As of July 2025, Gail Holst-Warhaft was listed as an adjunct professor in the Departments of Classics, Comparative Literature and Near Eastern Studies at Cornell University (Cornell), which is located in Ithaca, New York.
As of August 2025, Gail Holst-Warhaft's personal website said she: "She left Australia, in 1965 and moved to Greece. During the Greek dictatorship of 1967-74, she moved back to Australia, studying harpsichord and becoming a journalist."
