Wali Khan

Wali Khan is a registered nurse who equated Israel with Nazi Germany on Instagram during an Israeli war against Hamas terrorists in December 2023.

Khan published his remarks following a series of Hamas terror attacks and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings, which were executed on October 7, 2023.

The Hamas terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron,” which was going on when Khan wrote his Instagram posts.

Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.

As of December 20, 2023, Khan was listed online as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois.

Khan is licensed to practice in Illinois both as a CRNA, license number 209.027773, and as a registered nurse (RN), license number 041428235. Khan’s National Provider Information (NPI) number is 1891465225. On the NPI registry, he was listed as “Wali Sajjad Khan.”

As of the same date, Khan was also listed online as being affiliated with MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, Illinois.

As of December 21, 2023, Khan was listed online as the host of the “Nurse Converse” podcast and a contributor for nurse.org.

As of the same date, Khan was listed online as having graduated from Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) in 2021.

In December 2023, Khan posted on Instagram Stories a graphic juxtaposing the flag of Nazi Germany to an Israeli flag, with text that read: “Go ahead, refute this. / You can’t…History is repeating itself. Except this time, the world is not just a witness, it is complicit and has endorsed a LITERAL Genocide.”

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) highlights as one possible contemporary example of anti-Semitism: “Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.” The U.S. State Department adopted the IHRA’s working definition of anti-Semitism in 2016. Over 40 countries have adopted the definition as well.

On December 5, 2023, Khan posted on Instagram: “Every word. Literally every word out the mouths of these Fascist Zionist Nazis has been a lie…”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture. Zionism is a core part of the identity of most Jews.

On November 23, 2023, Khan posted on Instagram a graphic equating Israel with Nazi Germany, with two photos next to one another.

The first photo showed naked bodies in an open ditch and was labeled “1945 / Jewish Holocaust.” The second photo showed dozens of body bags in an open ditch and the text: “2023 / Gaza, Palestinian Genocide.” The second photo reportedly showed “the bodies of Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes …in Khan Younis,” a Gazan city that is a central base hub of Hamas operations and a site of bombing during the war.

Khan wrote in the post: “‘Never again’ … they said, as they carried out the gen💣cide and ethnic cleansing of another group of people.”

The phrase “Never Again” is deployed as a general declaration against genocide, invoking the Nazis’ war of extermination against the Jews.
