Overview

Hussein Ali Hamieh has promoted violence, expressed supportfor Hezbollah, as well as spread anti-Semitism, trivialized the Holocaust and spread hatred of Israel on Twitter.

In August 2016, Ali Hamieh tweeted that he was a student at MCC (Mesa Community College). In July 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted that he was transferring to “UofA” (University of Arizona), and in January 2017, tweeted that he was an “engineering student.”

In 2015 and 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted that he was a mechanic and that he worked “at gas stations in Arizona.” In February 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted that he worked at Sky High Smoke Shop and at Valero.

Promoting Violence

On August 21, 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “This quote is great but played out. Riot, protest, punch a nazi, do whatever but love is not gonna work anymore. We need an uprising.

On December 19, 2015, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “When you get off work at 7 but you got an Intifada at 7:30.” The tweet featured a photo of him masking his face with a keffiyeh.

On October 11, 2015, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “The Third Intifada is gonna be the last, mark my words.”

Since the early 2000s, the term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” has carried the connotation of violence.

Support for Hezbollah

On October 4, 2015, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “Really pisses me off when LEBANESE people talk s**t about the Hezb. Like you do know, Lebanon would be Israel without them, right?-_-.”

On July 9, 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “If Israel attacks Lebanon, on god I'm going to fight. Remember this tweet.”

On March 15, 2016, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “That's what you get for liking Jews.”

On March 14, 2016, in response to a tweet that read: “1. Do you consider your parents to be at least slightly racist?” Ali Hamieh tweeted: “They hate Jews, but who doesn't? BUH DUM TSSSS.”

On November 2, 2015, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “‘We got a letter from Dr. Goldstein’ Me: Yeah. Jews. That's what I need in my life.”

On September 13, 2015, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “Being Lebanese means that your parents are more Jewish with their money than the Jews themselves.”

Trivializing the Holocaust

On January 27, 2016, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “F**k you if you think the Holocaust was the worst thing that ever happened.”

On the same day, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “@LebaneseGoku you are all spoonfed by your school systems and the media that the holocaust was the bottom line of all tragedy.”

On January 20, 2016, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “Yeah, you could be those kids in Palestine that are experiencing the same thing🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃”

Ali Hamieh’s tweet was in response to a tweet quoting a Holocaust survivor, that read: “‘When I'm having a bad day I just look at my number and realize how much worse it could be.’ #NeverForget #holocaust”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On August 26, 2017, in response to a tweet by the Huffington Post that read: “.@GalGadot is the feminist hero we need.” Ali Hamieh tweeted: “She willingly participated and continually supports in the genocide of the Palestinian people. So no, she f**king isn't.”

On July 22, 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “You really believe this because that's what they show you? Do you read Arabic? Israel has been genociding Palestinians for decades.”

On May 2, 2017, in response to a tweet that read: “What kind of sick f**k kills a Giraffe for fun?” Ali Hamieh tweeted: “Zionists, probably.”

On April 19, 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “Israel is a terror state they're terrorists that terrorize I testify my television televisin' 'em tellin' lies.

On March 28, 2017, Ali Hamieh tweeted: “Kis ikhta la Israel b ayre [F**k the sister of Israel on my d**k],” in response to a tweet that read: “Use our Snapchat filter today if you're in D.C. at the pro-Israel #AIPAC conference! #AIPAC2017 #Israel #proIsrael.”
