Marvin Alexander

Overview

Marvin Alexander [Marvin Louis Alexander] has spread anti-Semitism and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. He has also demonized Israelis and spread hatred of Israel on social media.

Alexander has self-identified as a “Hebrew Israelite,” in reference to the Black Hebrew Israelites, an African American group whose members claim to be the true descendants of the ancient biblical Hebrews.

In 2012, Alexander indicated on Twitter that he was a Truck Driver. In July 2017, Alexander indicated on Facebook that he drove a truck for Walmart.

As of July 2020, Alexander’s Twitter bio said he lived in Saint George, Utah.

Anti-Semitism

On May 22, 2019, Alexander shared on Facebook a graphic that featured emojis of feces with a caption that read: “The Book of Esther is a Jew-ish convert ‘fairytale. It is not holy scripture. Throw it in the trash!”

On September 17, 2017, Alexander shared a graphic on Facebook that featured a photo of Orthodox Jews next to a photo of black children, with a caption that read: “THE GREATEST CASE OF IDENTITY THEFT EVER. Stealing the identity of a Nation.”

Over the photo of Orthodox Jews, the graphic superimposed text also had a New Testament quote from Revelation 2:9 (King James Version) saying: “ I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Alexander commented: “The proof is evident---”

On September 5, 2017, Alexander shared a graphic on Facebook that featured a photo of Orthodox Jews with superimposed text that read: “The Synagogue of Satan.”

On the same day, Alexander shared to Facebook a graphic that featured a photo of an Orthodox Jewish child with the label “GMO [Genetically Modified Organism],” juxtaposed with a photo of a black child with the label “Organic.”

On September 5, 2017, Alexander also shared a graphic on Facebook that featured an image of the Israeli flag with a caption that read: “‘STAR OF DAVID’ IS SATANIC!!! IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH KING DAVID WHATSOEVER! READ ACTS 7:43!” The graphic also featured a photo of Orthodox Jews with a caption that read: “‘JUDAISM = CREATED NOT EVEN 1,500 YEARS AGO!!!”

On September 5, 2017, Alexander shared a graphic on Facebook with a caption that suggesting that Ashkenazi Jews are European and can be “traced back to the Khazarian tribes of Russia prior to migration to Germany.”

The “Khazar myth” refers to the assertion that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the ancient Israelites but instead come from the Khazar People, whose ruling class was said to have converted to Judaism. One way anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to promote the Khazar myth to deny [00:02:16] Israel’s legitimacy through the denial of Jewish ancestry and Jews’ connection to the Land of Israel.

On September 5, 2017, Alexander shared an image featuring Orthodox Jews with a caption that read: “These are the Fake Jewish Clan who stole the identity of the true Black Hebrews of the Bible Satanist Zionist Jews.”

Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories

On March 11, 2020, Alexander tweeted: “Hitler found this out from the Persians (later renamed Iran. It infuriated him that the imposters were successfully pulling it off. Hitler was told that the true Hebrew Israelites that was ran off by the Romans in 70AD, was black. Then they somehow return WHITE!!!”

Alexander’s tweet featured a graphic that referred to the claim that Hitler said African Americans were the real Jews, a hoax which was exposed by the fact-checking website, Snopes.com.

A 2015 version of the hoax, published on the website FMLGoneViral.com, claimed that Hitler once said: “America has stolen the jews. The Jews of God. His jewelry. The negros. They are the true hebrews...”

On April 5, 2019, Alexander tweeted: “Already knew Hitler knew...the Persians/ Iranians told him so-.”

Alexander also promoted the same conspiracy on Facebook on September 5, 2017, commenting: “Hitler knew the truth (got it from the Persians (modern day Iran 🇮🇷)!!!!!.”

On the same day, Alexander shared on Facebook a graphic that featured a photo of Hitler with a caption that read: “America has stolen the jews. The Jews of God. His jewelry. The negroes. They are the true hebrews.” Alexander commented: “He knew---”

On September 5, 2017, Alexander shared on Facebook a graphic that featured a photo of “African Slaves aboard HMS Daphnes, 1867.” The graphic depicted the ship with sails with the star of David painted on them in blood.

The caption read: “SLAVE TRADE COVERUP.” The caption continued: “Zionist Owned Hollywood Makes Movies Depicting ONLY Christian-Owned Ships To Instill WHITE GUILT, but, per the Jewish Historical Society, JEWISH MERCHANTS DOMINATED THE TRANSATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE where 8 million Africans perished.”

The claim that Jews were dominant in the Transatlantic Slave Trade was propagated in a book publishedin 1991 by the Nation of Islam, a branch of the Black Nationalist Movement titled: “Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews”

The book has been discredited in a work titled: “Jews, Slaves, and the Slave Trade: Setting the Record Straight” by professor of History at City University, New York (CUNY), Eli Farber.

On September 5, 2017, Alexander shared a graphic on Facebook with a heading that read: “Old Money is Linked to Slavery.”

The graphic featured a quote that read: “The first two centuries of the Black-Jewish encounter in America were high-lighted by a fairly extensive record of Jewish slave-holding. Indeed, during the colonial period, in the small Jewish community of the time, almost every Jewish household of any form, North or South, possessed at least one slave.”

The graphic also promoted the book “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews,” written by Louis Farakhan.

Louis Farrakhan has been the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI) since 1977. He spreads anti-Semitism and anti-white theology in his speeches. He has referred to white people as “devils” and labeled [00:01:52] Jews as termites, as well as [00:00:01] “satanic” and said [00:00:05]: “They control everything and mostly everybody.”

NOI was founded in 1930 and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has called it the “oldest Black nationalist organization in the U.S.” NOI also uses its Final Call newspaper to push hatred of Jews.

Demonizing Israelis

As of March 2020, Alexander’s Twitter cover photo featured an image with a quote ascribed to Gamal Abdel Nasser, that read: “The Europeans claiming to be Jews are nothing more than ‘Hebrew speaking Gentiles.’”

The quote continued: “you (the Jews) will never be able to live here in peace, because they left here black but came back white. We cannot except you! (1952).”

Alexander also shared to Facebook a meme featuring the Gamal Abdel Nasser quote, on September 5, 2017.

On June 21, 2019, Alexander tweeted: “They know all about Israel leaving black 70AD and came back white 1948...an occupation mentioned nowhere in the Bible except for there would be imposters settling in Jerusalem or the land Zion pretending to be Hebrew Israelites.....smh—.”

Alexander’s tweet was in response to another tweet that read: “Iranian Official Hassan Rahimpour Azghadi: ‘Israel – the Zionist regime – will cease to exist in the next 20-25 years ... Even if no other government or people assist us, we will bring down the Zionist regime ourselves in the next 20 years’”

On May 25, 2019, Alexander shared three images on Facebook taken from a speech given by former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad that showed him saying: “But you should know that those (Israelis) are lying.” The second image continued: “They are not Jews, but a bunch of corrupt criminals…” In the third image Ahmadinejad added: “who abuse the name of Judaism.”

Former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a notorious anti-Semite and Holocaust denier.

Alexander commented on the images, quoting Gamal Abdel Nasser, saying: “The Europeans in the holy land right now will never have peace because their neighbors know the truth....as the late Egyptian President once said in 1953…’Israel left the Black and came back white’, not possible—”

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On May 22, 2019, Alexander shared a graphic on Facebook implying that the U.S. sends more aid to Tel Aviv than Detroit, at the expense of Detroit residents.

On September 5, 2017, Alexander shared a graphic on Facebook with a caption that read: “IsraHell. Born of British Colonialism, created through zionist terrorism, supported by western imperialism, sustained by Israeli militariam.”
