Omar Quintana

Overview

Omar Quintana has spread hatred of Israel online. He also promoted anti-Semitism and racism during high school.

As of March 2021, Quintana’s LinkedIn page said he graduated from San Diego State University-California State University (SDSU) with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology. 

Quintana’s LinkedIn also said he served on the College of Science Student Council and belonged to the Chicanos/Latinos for Community Medicine, whose stated mission is to promote “diversity in health through community education.”

On March 28, 2021, Quintana tweeted: “I go back to school tomorrow, kinda nervous but mostly excited. #RoadtoMedSchool.”

Also as of March 2021, Quintana’s LinkedIn said he was located in Chula Vista, California.

As of March 2021, Quintana used the handle “CheneyHenney” and screen name “Omar” on Twitter.

Spreading Hatred of Israel

On October 26, 2020, Quintana tweeted: “F**k Israel.” Quintana’s tweet included a tweet with a video claiming that “malicious Israeli settlers” had cut down 300 Palestinian olive trees.

On August 29, 2020, Quintana tweeted: “I cant wait for 2022 when I can go back to making people uncomfortable as I go on drunken rants about the state of Israel.”

On June 3, 2019, Quintana tweeted: “I hate Israel.”

On March 12, 2019, Quintana tweeted: “Israel doesnt exist & u cant convince me otherwise.”

On March 4, 2019, Quintana tweeted: “As your constituent, I’m disappointed that you’d conflate antisemitism with rightful criticism of Israel.” Quintana’s tweet was in response to a tweet on the same date by San Diego County Representative Juan Vargas that criticized Ilhan Omar for perpetuating “hurtful anti-Semitic stereotypes.”

High School Anti-Semitism

On November 7, 2014, Quintana tweeted: “Feliz Cumpleaños, can't wait to go to Poland with you & see all the concentration camps Steam locomotive. Heil mein fuhrer…”

On May 26, 2014, Quintana tweeted: “take a shot each time they kill a jew.” In the same thread, Quintana tweeted: “i thought we were playing the WWII drinking game.”

On April 13, 2014, Quintana tweeted: “What if you tell a Jew to concentrate?”

On March 17, 2014, Quintana tweeted: “I wanna go to Kazahkistan for the running of the Jew.” Quintana’s tweet referred to a fictional festival described as “an anti-Semitic version of the running of the bulls,” featured in the movie Borat.

On December 27, 2013, Quintana tweeted: “Jews killing newborns? Idk where to begin.”

High School Racism

On July 29, 2014, Quintana tweeted: “‘What's the biggest problem in our society?’ 
@mrangeles07 @Sageof69Paths @AndrewRaffe.” Quintana’s tweet included a screenshot from a TV show, with a subtitle saying “n**gers.”

On August 3, 2014, Quintana tweeted a meme ofof a science fair display that said: “WILL THERE BE N**GERS IN HEAVEN?” Quintana added: “The scientist i dream to be.”

On September 9, 2014, Quintana tweeted: “i put n**gers on my project last year,” in response to a tweet from the same date that said: “i forgot 2 change something that was inappropriate/somewhat racist on my project before turning it in.”
