Tess Segal

Tess Segal [Tess Jaden Segal] was reportedly arrested at the anti-Israel encampment at the University of Florida (UF) in April 2024, which was in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

On April 30, 2024, the Alachua Chronicle reported that Tess Segal was arrested and charged with “failure to obey an officer and wearing a mask on public property” at the UF encampment. The encampment was in violation of UF policy. Segal was one of nine individuals arrested.

The encampment was part of a national movement on college campuses in 2024, during Israel’s war against Hamas. The encampments were also in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of November 2025, Tess Segal's LinkedIn said she was studying for a bachelor's degree in sustainability studies at UF, slated to graduate in 2026. UF is located in Gainesville, Florida.
