Tariq Ahmed

Tariq Ahmed [Tariq Afaq Ahmed] financially supported an anti-Israel political action committee (PAC) in 2026.

The profilee's donations were given during an extended period of global antisemitism that began with the October 7, 2023, terror attacks, when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds. Israel immediately launched a war against Hamas in Gaza.

As of October 2026, Ahmed was listed as having donated $500,000 in 2026 to American Priorities.

American Priorities is an independent expenditure-only political committee (super PAC) founded in February 2026 to support anti-Israel Democrats in congressional campaigns. In November 2023, one month into Israel's war against Hamas, its former director promoted the antisemitic conspiracy theory that AIPAC controls American politicians. Other leaders have labeled Israel's founding a catastrophe and celebrated calls to destroy Israel.

The stated mission of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which is composed of American citizens, is to “strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”

On November 7, 2025, Ahmed expressed support for the New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani, a leader within the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Mamdani has called for dismantling capitalism and promoted hatred of the police. He has also justified Hamas terrorism and glorified terror supporters. On his first day as mayor, he revoked executive orders designed to combat antisemitism, including increased police protection at synagogues, and nullified a ban on city officials to boycott Israel.

As of March 2026, Ahmed had reportedly donated to Mamdani's official support PAC, as well as to the 2026 campaigns of multiple anti-Israel DSA congressional candidates.

As of October 2026, Ahmed's X said he was a founding member of AppLovin and was located in Palo Alto, California.

In October 2025, The New York Post reported that Culper Research alleged that AppLovin was a national-security risk.

In November 2025, Richt reported that AppLovin was under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding whether AppLovin violated agreements about data collection from children, inappropriate content, and other targeted advertising issues.
