Sereen El Jamal
Sereen El Jamal expressed support for terrorists, spoke at an anti-Israel rally and led chants at an anti-Israel march organized by Within Our Lifetime (WOL), a pro-terror activist group in New York City founded by Nerdeen Kiswani.
El Jamal has engaged multiple times in activism with WOL, whose “Points of Unity” states: “We defend the right of Palestinians as colonized people to resist the zionist occupation by any means necessary.”
Anti-Israel activists use the phrase “By any means necessary” as one of multiple euphemisms for terrorist violence, of which another is “resistance.”
El Jamal is also a supporter of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.
In 2021, El Jamal fundraised on Instagram for The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), which was reportedly set up to “provide urgent humanitarian care for Gaza’s children.” It has been financially linked with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which was shut down by the U.S. government for funneling donations to terrorist organizations.
In March 2024, El Jamal’s since-deleted LinkedIn profile said she was studying biomedical sciences at Marist College (Marist), slated to graduate in 2024. Marist is located in Poughkeepsie, New York.
In March 2024, El Jamal’s LinkedIn said she was the co-president of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) at Marist.
In May 2024, El Jamal was listed in the Marist commencement program as having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences.
As of March 2025, Sereen El Jamal went by the username “Sereen Elj” and used the handle "sereen.eljamal.75" on Facebook.
As of the same date, El Jamal went by the username and used the handle “@pali_sj” on Instagram that included the emoji of an inverted red triangle.
The inverted red triangle is a symbol showing support for Hamas and Palestinian terrorism. It was first used by Hamas during the October 7, 2023, Hamas terror attacks to signify an Israeli target.
As of March 2025, El Jamal’s second LinkedIn said she was studying for a master’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at Pace University (Pace), slated to graduate in December 2025. Pace is located in New York, New York.
As of the same date, El Jamal’s LinkedIn said she was working part-time as a medical assistant at Pulse-MD Urgent Care in New York, New York.
