Nahla Al Sarraj

Nahla Al Sarraj is a medical student who expressed support for terrorism and spread hatred of Zionists and Israel.

Al Sarraj’s activities took place after Hamas committed atrocities and war crimes against Israeli civilians, including mass murder, torture, rape, beheadings and kidnappings on October 7, 2023. The terror attacks left over 1,200 Israelis dead, hundreds kidnapped and thousands wounded. Israel retaliated with a war called “Swords of Iron.”

Nahla Al Sarraj participated in the pro-terror “People’s Conference for Palestine,” held in Detroit, Michigan on May 24-26, 2024, when dozens of anti-Israel organizations gathered to “...strengthen our…strategies, our tactics…” and “...chart out the next phase of our struggle…until victory.”

The conference website stated demands: “...an end to all US aid for Israel, and a free Palestine echo in the streets, in classrooms and universities, disrupting the halls of government and the daily lives of all genocide-profiteers. All backers of Zionism, Israel, and US imperialism have been put on notice…” Convening organizations included the Palestinian Youth Movement and National Students for Justice in Palestine.

On June 13, 2024, Al Sarraj posted on TikTok an interview she had given at the conference to Milwaukie’s TMJ News Network. She stated the reason she attended was [00:00:05]: “...to fight for Palestinian liberation…” and [00:00:08]: “...to fight against genocide happening against the Palestinian people.”

Nahla Al Sarraj is a supporter [00:00:01] of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

As of December 2024, Al Sarraj was listed on the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) website as a fourth-year postgraduate student in psychiatry, CPSO Registration # 131739, at Western University (Western), slated to graduate in June 2025.

Western is located in London, Ontario, Canada.

On November 25, 2024, Al Sarraj posted on TikTok another user’s video titled: “Listen:” The video begins in mid-sentence, as the speaker says: [00:00:01]: “...the Holy Land 5, one of the most unjust cases in the US to this day…let’s talk about it.” A banner is displayed over the speaker’s face, titled “FREE THE HOLY LAND FIVE: PALESTINIAN POLITICAL PRISONERS IN US JAILS” with photos of the five convicted terrorist supporters.

The Holy Land Five (HLF5) were five individuals associated with the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) indicted for funneling funds to Hamas in the guise of humanitarian aid. The men were all convicted and sentenced in 2009 to federal prison terms ranging from 15 to 65 years.

On December 11, 2023, Al Sarraj posted on TikTok a video in which she said [00:00:54]: “Palestinians have been resisting peacefully, mind you, not just in armed resistance, but even in the peaceful resistance, like the ‘March of Return’, where they’d simply walked towards the borders and were shot…”

Throughout 2018, Hamas organized and funded the “March of Return” riots where tens of thousands of Palestinians approached the Israel-Gaza border, attempting to breach Israel’s security fence. They sent explosive devices into Israel, shot firearms and threw projectiles at Israeli soldiers, necessitating the use of live fire in response.

One Hamas leader declared [00:00:30]: “We will take down the border and we will tear out their hearts from their bodies.” The riots intended to highlight the “right of return,” a Palestinian demand long discredited as a way to destroy Israel.

During the 2018 March of Return, Hamas routinely directed its members to infiltrate the border between Gaza and Israel to train for an attack on Israeli communities in the area, leading to the October 7, 2023 massacre. For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.

On October 11, 2023, Al Sarraj posted on TikTok a video captioned: “#freeahmadmanasra” in support of Palestinian terrorist Ahmed Manasra. In the video, she said [00:01:05]: “...we know that there was never going to be justice for him; they were going to imprison him anyway…” She then claimed [00:01:16]: “...he was sentenced to 12 years in prison…for a crime he did not commit…”

Ahmed Manasra (sometimes spelled Mansara) and his 15-year-old cousin Hassan went on a stabbing spree in Jerusalem on October 12, 2015, during the Knife Intifada. The pair critically wounded a 13-year-old Israeli boy and moderately wounded a 25-year-old man. Manasra later admitted to investigators: “I went there to stab Jews,” and was convicted on two counts of attempted murder.

On June 10, 2024, Al Sarraj posted on TikTok: “...Zionism is terrorism.” Included in the post was a video in which she said [00:00:02]: “...I’m going to summarize what it was like being face-to-face with the March for Israel, the individuals that were marching for Israel, as a counter-protester…”

Zionism is the belief that Jews have the right to self-determination in their own national home, and the right to develop their national culture. Zionism is a core part of the identity of most Jews.

Referring to the pro-Israel march participants, Al Sarraj said [00:01:28]: “...Another thing I noticed is just how much hate can be contained in human beings…” She continued [00:02:04]: “...I’ve never been face-to-face with that many people who stand for so much hate…”

On June 9, 2024, CTVNews Canada reported that [00:00:06]: “roughly 50,000” people attended the annual “Walk With Israel” and that [00:00:23] “at least six people were arrested in clashes between officers and pro-Palestinian protesters along the route.”

On May 29, 2024, Al Sarraj posted on TikTok a video in which she said [00:00:01]: “You know what has been the most consistent and also horrifying, but very consistent behavior…is the way that Zionists speak; it’s the way that Zionists speak to anyone who is an anti-Zionist with this incitement of violence. Every single time.”

Al Sarraj continued [00:01:02]: “...This is Zionism. It is violence. It is racism. It is discrimination. It is the dehumanization of anyone that opposes this ideology, this racist ideology…” She said [00:01:27]: “...anytime that someone tries to spin being an anti-Zionist to somehow being violent towards Zionists has no leg to stand on…”

Al Sarraj said [00:01:44]: “...Zionism is genocidal. Zionism literally, literally wishes to annihilate Palestinians and not just Palestinians. It is about stealing, land theft. It is about ethnic cleansing of people that they don’t even deem human…Zionism is terrorism and when you are anti-Zionist, you are an anti-terrorist. Don’t let them ever twist it.”
