Nada Abdelfatah reportedly signed an anti-Israel statement in support of the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement.

The profilee's activism occurred during Israel’s war against Hamas, which Israel launched after the October 7, 2023, terror attacks when Hamas murdered nearly 1,200 Israelis, injured thousands and kidnapped hundreds.

The January 15, 2024 statement Nada Abdelfatah signed accused Israel of an “ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza” as well as “apartheid [and] ethnic cleansing,” during its war against Hamas.

Signatories were affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY), and the statement sought to develop “a SUNY-wide Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) Movement…at all 64 SUNY campuses.”

As of March 2026, Nada Abdelfatah's LinkedIn said she graduated from Stony Brook University (SBU) with a bachelor’s degree in public health in 2022. SBU is part of SUNY and is located in Stony Brook, New York.

As of the same date, Nada Abdelfatah's LinkedIn said she worked as a medical assistant at Stony Brook University Hospital and was located in Smithtown, New York.
