Overview

Harold Maze [Harold A. Maze Jr./Harold Rawls Maze] has expressed violent hatred of Jews and spread anti-Semitism.

Maze went to jail in 2008, according to his Twitter account. In 2016, Maze wrote on Facebook that he served time for “Possession of Cocaine w/intent to distribute…” He also indicated on Twitter that he “Got outta jail in ‘09… ”

Maze has self-identified as a “Hebrew Israelite,” a reference to the Black Hebrew Israelites, an African-American religious sect whose members claim to be the true descendants of the ancient biblical Hebrews.

As of January 2023, Maze described himself as an “Activist/Artist” on his YouTube channel. In January 2023, his Linktree account provided a link to a “scheduling page” for his company called “Raspy Rawls Consulting, LLC.” As of November 2022, Rawls sold courses under the name “Learn UP with Raspy Rawls” on Shopify.

As of January 2023, Maze listed 10 businesses offering firearms sales and training on his defunct website. Maze wrote: “We are champions of those who seek to educate and empower our community…in an effort to enstill the importance of protecting ourselves and families.”

In August 2022, Maze wrote in an Instagram post that he now owns “about 20 companies.” In May 2017, Maze tweeted that his book, "Inspired,” had been published.

As of February 2023, Maze’s Instagram bio read: “Education, Metal, Cannabis/CBD, Real Estate, Construction, Cryptocurrency, Gambling, Consulting.”

Also as of February 2023, Maze’s Facebook page said he “Lives in Atlanta, Georgia.”

As of February 2023, Maze used a variation of the name “Raspy Rawls” on numerous social media accounts.

Violent Hatred of Jews

On June 21, 2016, Maze tweeted: “Dam.. They should've killed all the Jewish ppl.. Then killed themselves.. Both you Europeans are…”

Spreading Anti-Semitism

On March 31, 2015, Maze tweeted: “Dem Zionist muh fukrs.. The ones that pull ALL the strings.. Control ALL gumments.. Funded boaf sides…”

The assertion that Jews secretly control the Western governments through banking and finance is traced to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, a fabricated anti-Semitic text that portrays wealthy Jews as conspiring to take over the world. This anti-Semitic conspiracy theory has often employed the imagery from Nazi cartoons that depict Jews as octopuses encircling the globe.

On November 16, 2015, Maze tweeted: “How come #Isis never attacks #Israel.”

On January 13, 2016, Maze tweeted: “Them fake ass #Jews over in #Israel controlling the world… #SynagogueOfSatan…”

The accusation that Jews are “fake” and “impostors” [sic] is a popular teaching preached by BHIs. One of their sources for this assertion comes from the New Testament’s book of Revelation (2:9), which says: “... and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.”

The phrase “synagogue of Satan” is mentioned in two verses from the New Testament’s Book of Revelation (2:9, 3:9), which have been used through the ages to justify anti-Semitism.

On April 7, 2016, Maze tweeted: “White/Jew-ISH/European People are The Devil in the flesh.. Don't take my werd for it… ”

The terms “Jew-ISH" and "Je-WISH" are used by BHIs to claim that Jews are not "real Jews" but rather the descendants of white Europeans. The BHIs believe themselves to be the "real Jews."

On April 29, 2016, Maze tweeted: “The Jew-ISH control the World and use the White ppl to run it for them…”

On July 1, 2016, Maze tweeted: “The fake Jews are Europeans just like the Irish the French etc.. They're all kkkrakkkas [crackers].”

The term “cracker” is used as a slur against white people.

On December 19, 2016, Maze posted on Facebook: “The Rothschilds have been in control of the world for a very long time, their tentacles reaching into many aspects of our daily lives… ”

Accompanying the post was a photo of the Rothschild family with the text: “THE ROTHSCHILD FAMILY HOLDS ABOUT 80% OF THE WORLD’S TOTAL WEALTH.”

Conspiracy theories regarding the Rothschild family date back to the 18th century. Anti-Semites frequently cite the family’s wealth to support the claim that “Jews control the world’s money supply.”

Maze continued in the same Facebook post: “You will find that approximately 90% of people in the world today who call themselves Jews are actually Khazars, or as they like to be known, Ashkenazi Jews. These people knowingly lie to the world with their claims that the land of Israel is theirs by birthright, when in actual fact their real homeland is over 800 miles away in Georgia [FSU].”

The “Khazar myth” refers to the assertion that Ashkenazi Jews are not descended from the ancient Israelites but instead from the Khazar people, whose ruling class was said to have converted to Judaism. Ashkenazi Jews originate from an ancient Jewish community in the Middle East, whose descendants settled in Europe. The Khazar myth is used [00:02:16] to deny Jews’ connection to the Land of Israel.

On July 13, 2018, Maze tweeted: “This is why when you speak on the Fake Jews you could never be Anti-Shemitic.. They are not Israel.. At Allllllllll.”

On June 11, 2020, Maze tweeted: “…New DNA science proves that today’s ‘Jew’ come from Khazaria and are not the seed of Abraham.

On November 25, 2020, Maze tweeted that “Fake Jews funded Columbus” and the “Transatlantic Slave Trade.”

The claim that Jews were dominant in the transatlantic slave trade was propagated in a book published by the Nation of Islam titled: “The Secret Relationship between Blacks and Jews.” The book has been discredited in a work titled: “Jews, Slaves, and the Slave Trade: Setting the Record Straight,” by John Jay College of Criminal Justice professor of history, Eli Faber.
