Mohammad Hossain
Mohammad Hossain [Mohammad Momin Hossain] has engaged in acts of violence, called for the death of Israelis and destruction of Israel, and expressed support for terrorists. He has also spread antisemitism and promoted hatred of the police.
Hossain has led anti-Israel protests in New York City since at least June 2024, including with the pro-terror organizations Within Our Lifetime (WOL) and the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM).
In August 2025, Hossain referred [00:01:46] to himself as a "chant leader."
As of November 2025, Hossain's LinkedIn profile said he worked as a manager at GALAXY WIRELESS CELL CORPORATION.
As of the same date, Hossain's Facebook page said he was located in New York, New York.
On April 27, 2025, Hossain was featured in a video posted on X, participating in a WOL rally. In the video, he can be seen [00:00:11] throwing a punch at pro-Israel activists.
Later, Hossain attempted [00:00:20] to punch another individual, before a New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer intervened.
On April 15, 2025, WOL posted on X that the rally was to call for "the liberation of all our prisoners, as they are the compass of our struggle for the complete liberation of Palestine!"
The post referred to Palestinian terrorists held in Israeli prisons.
On October 20, 2025, during Israel's war against Hamas terrorists, Hossain posted on Instagram a video of himself saying [00:00:25] that if he were the leader of Hamas, "there's gonna be no Israel" and motioned what he described [00:00:46] as "swording the neck" of Israel because [00:00:57] "the political [approach] is not gonna work."
On October 7, 2023, Hamas murdered approximately 1,200 Israelis, kidnapped hundreds and wounded thousands. War crimes included mass rape and torture. Many Palestinian civilians participated in and supported the attacks, and Gazans working in the targeted Israeli communities gave intelligence to Hamas on where to strike.
For more information, see the Canary Mission page on Hamas.
On October 7, 2025, Hossain posted on Instagram a video at a pro-Hamas rally, showing anti-Israel protesters celebrating that day's Hamas' terror attacks on Israel, which occurred exactly two years earlier.
In the video, protesters chanted [00:00:02], referring to Israel Defense Forces (IDF): "Death, death to the IDF!" and [00:00:31] "Intifada, intifada! Long live the intifada!"
The term “intifada,” which translates from Arabic as “uprising” or “insurrection,” carries the connotation of violence. Palestinian intifadas waged against Israel have been marked since 1987 by hundreds of hijackings, shootings, stabbings, bombings and suicide missions.
On September 8, 2025, Hossain posted on Instagram a video of himself chanting [00:00:01], referring to Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "Netanyahu in a bunker, we will put him six feet under!" and [00:00:38]: "Bomb, bomb Tel Aviv!"
On August 9, 2025, Hossain posted on Instagram a video of himself at an anti-Israel protest leading chants [00:00:02]: "Death, death to the IDF!" and [00:00:28]: "Yemen, Yemen, make us proud, turn another ship around!"
Following the outbreak of Israel’s 2023 war against Hamas, Houthi terrorists attacked commercial ships off Yemen’s Red Sea coast and launched missiles into southern Israel. Like Hamas, the Houthi movement is backed by Iran, and is designated as a terror group by the United States, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
The Houthi slogan reads: “God is the Greatest / Death to America / Death to Israel / A Curse Upon the Jews / Victory to Islam.”
On June 20, 2025, Hossain posted on Instagram a video of himself leading a rally in support of Iran. The video also included a clip celebrating [00:00:50] Iran's attacks on buildings in Tel Aviv, as well as AI videos glorifying [00:00:59; 00:01:05] Iran attacking Israel.
On June 13, 2025, Israel attacked Iran's nuclear facilities after Israeli intelligence stated Iran was "within 15 days" of creating a nuclear bomb.
Israel conducted over 1,500 airstrikes in 12 days, destroying or damaging Iran's nuclear, military and ballistic missile infrastructure. Israel eliminated 11 nuclear scientists, over 30 senior military commanders and hundreds of IRGC members. The war was officially called "Operation Rising Lion."
Iran retaliated with 1,600 missiles and drones, of which Israel intercepted over 95 percent. Iran targeted military sites, civilian apartment buildings and a hospital. 28 Israelis were killed and 3,343 injured.
On June 22, 2025, the U.S. bombed five Iranian nuclear sites with bunker-buster bombs and cruise missiles, then brokered a June 24, 2025 ceasefire.
On May 16, 2025, Hossain posted on Facebook photos and videos of himself at an anti-Israel protest.
In one of the videos, Hossain marched in the front row behind WOL banners that said: "FREEDOM. JUSTICE. RETURN. / WITHIN OUR LIFETIME / BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY," and "GLOBALIZE THE INTIFADA."
Anti-Israel activists use the phrase “By any means necessary” as one of multiple euphemisms for terrorist violence, of which another is “resistance.”
The “right of return” is a Palestinian demand discredited as a means to eliminate Israel.
In another video, Hossain marched while holding a banner that said: "RESISTING THE NAKBA SINCE 1948."
The term “Nakba” is generally translated as “catastrophe” in Arabic, referring to the outcome of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It is a term used to delegitimize the creation of the State of Israel by drawing a comparison to the Holocaust, known in Hebrew as the Shoah, meaning “catastrophe.”
On January 16, 2025, Hossain posted on Facebook photos and videos of himself leading a PYM protest.
In one of the videos, Hossain led the crowd in chanting [00:00:27]: "There is only one solution! Intifada revolution!"
On January 19, 2025, Hossain posted [slide 4] on Instagram a video of himself holding the Hamas flag and leading protesters in chanting [00:00:31]: "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free."
“From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free” is a chant used [00:02:47] to call for the elimination of the State of Israel. It has also been employed by Hamas leader Khaled Mashal to call for the replacement of Israel with an Islamic state. In April 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a resolution condemning the chant as antisemitic.
Hamas has been designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S., Canada, European Union, Israel and other countries. Founded in 1987, it has killed thousands of Israeli civilians through mass shootings and suicide bombings. Hamas has also kidnapped children, families and the elderly and held them hostage in Gaza. It has desecrated [slide 7] dead bodies and launched numerous rocket attacks against Israeli civilians.
On August 17, 2025, Hossein was featured in a video posted on Instagram, in which he said [00:00:09]: “I wish I can take [the] position [of] Ismail Haniyeh one day."
Ismail Haniyeh served as the senior leader of terror group Hamas for 18 years. During this time, Hamas increased its rocket barrages on southern Israel and built more terror tunnels. Haniyeh was assassinated in Iran on July 31, 2024, during the Swords of Iron war, which Israel launched against Hamas in response to the October 7, 2023, Hamas atrocities.
Later in the same video, when asked if he wished he could be like Yahya Sinwar, Hossain said [00:00:20]: "I can get this position for myself I wish."
Yahya (Yehiya) Sinwar masterminded the October 7, 2023 terror attacks on Israel. While serving four life sentences in Israel, he was released to Gaza following the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange deal. On October 17, 2024, the Israel Defense Forces eliminated Sinwar in Gaza.
On February 28, 2025, Hossain was featured in a video posted on X, leading a vigil for Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in New York City .
Hassan Nasrallah became the leader of terror group Hezbollah in 1992 and maintained his leadership until an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon killed him on September 27, 2024. Nasrallah once said: “In a future war, all of occupied Palestine will be struck by our rockets” and [00:00:19]: “Israel is a cancerous tumor!…The only solution is to eradicate the cancer.” He called Jews the most “cowardly, despicable, weak and feeble” people in the world.
Hezbollah has long been known as an anti-Semitic and genocidal terror organization dedicated to destroying Israel.
In the video, Hossain led [00:00:01] the crowd in chanting: "Take back '48" and [00:01:42]: "Odrob, Odrob, Tel Abib!”
The modern State of Israel was founded in 1948.
“Odrob, Odrob, Tel Abib” [Strike a Blow at Tel Aviv] is an anti-Semitic, Arabic-language song that celebrates rocket attacks against Israel. It was released in 2012 during Israel’s Operation Pillar of Defense (OPD) against Hamas. The song was originally accompanied by images of injured Israelis [00:00:15] and rockets ready to be launched [00:00:42, 00:02:01].
On February 24, 2025, Hossain posted on Facebook a photo of himself at the vigil, standing next to a Hezbollah flag and holding a photo of Sinwar and Haniyeh.
On the same date, Hossain posted on Facebook more photos from the vigil and wrote: "May Allah bless you guys highest level of jannah [paradise] brother Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh☝️🍉🍉."
The watermelon has been appropriated by terrorists and anti-Israel activists as a symbol of Palestinian "resistance" to "Israeli occupation," as it shares the Pan-Arab colors. It gained widespread popularity and usage following the Hamas terror attacks of October 7, 2023.
On January 18, 2024, Hossain wrote on Instagram: "...the jews...now they killing, stealing in Palestinian. no gratitude for people who have done good to them!!! we will send them back Europe In sha Allah [please God]..."
One way that anti-Israel activists spread anti-Semitism is to claim [00:06:46] that Jews, particularly Ashkenazi Jews, do not descend from the ancient Israelites. This claim alleges that Jews are white Europeans who lack a connection to the Land of Israel.
On May 16, 2025, Hossain posted on Facebook a video at an anti-Israel protest, showing a police officer getting injured. A caption over the video said: "I call this divine justice."
On June 19, 2024, Hossain posted on Facebook a flyer promoting a rally organized by various anti-Israel groups, with text that said: "Black Revolutionaries in Atlanta have called for a Summer of Resistance...STOP COP CITY! FREE PALESTINE."
“Free Palestine” is a chant that has been described as a "battle cry for the death of Jews.” In May 2025, two Israeli diplomats in Washington, D.C., were murdered by a gunman shouting “Free Palestine!” In June 2025, one pro-Israel activist was killed and over 25 were injured in Boulder, Colorado, when a man yelling “Free Palestine” firebombed them.
